Congrats, seven...being a December child, I feel for the boy..you will have to make the effort to make his birthday celebration equal to that of the others. I always got ONE gift for both, but my folks were quite poor.

Thanks Grey! It's 21 days before Christmas, so it won't be a problem. My other boy has a November b-day, so a similar issue.

I really feel for my Neice though, her birthday is Dec. 25th. I can't imagine!!

It’s still hard for a child though.

Before he went off the deep end, And Rocky endorsed Romney after his success with the Olympics.

Both took back their endorsements after Rocky went nutzoid.

Both took back their endorsements after Rocky went nutzoid.

So, there is a "take-back" in political endorsements? That sounds exactly like Mitt's "take-back" on his pro-abortion stance, and eerily like the mormon church's "take-back" on pronouncements by Brigham Young, Joseph Smith, McKonkie and other church leaders.

"Say whatever suits your purpose of the time...you can always take it back later"!

Incredible!

I have a feeling Peggy noonan was a romney fan, just like kathleen parker. It’s really an elitist thing more than anything else. The polished hair and speech, the perfect all knowing CEO.

Well, sure. If you thought your prom date for the next four years was going to be the handsome football quarterback but it turned out to be a girl from far-off Alaska who is prettier and more popular than you, you would be pissed off, too. ;)

“Dang, you’d think Mormon central USA would at least have conservative newspapers.”

They do. This is like the NYT endorsing Sarah Palin. It will only happen when pigs fly. You know there is something else going on when it happens.

"The Salt Lake paper complained that "out of nowhere, and without proper vetting, the impetuous McCain picked Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate. She quickly proved grievously underequipped to step into the presidency should McCain, at 72 and with a history of health problems, die in office. More than any single factor, McCain's bad judgment in choosing the inarticulate, insular and ethically challenged Palin disqualifies him for the presidency."

Since they have to lie to support their endorsement, the Obama thugs must have had some 'influence' in this decision. Is this about $$?

Everything is relative. A liberal in Utah would be considered conservative in most other states (just as a conservative in Mass. would be a liberal in most other states.)

Utah does have a conservative newspaper or two. But it isn’t the Salt Lake Tribune. Try looking at the headlines for the Deseret News.

Salt Lake City’s about the only part of the state of Utah that can get a Dem into the House of Representatives. That should tell ya something about the city and it’s namesake newspaper...

In this case, I don’t believe it is Obama thugs. I think it is another case of Romney supporter sour grapes.

There are a number of things to like about Romney (and some not to like), but in the end he is just another politician. Unless you have a religious agenda. There are some (not all, but some) that see Romney as a POTENTIAL fulfillment of a religious prophecy. Hench, they tend to get their religious zeal and politics confused.
