The Miami Herald has always been a pinko paper. Bob Graham's family owned it for years.
It was even more sickening in the 1980s, when it bashed Cuban exiles and praised Janet Reno on a regular basis.
Did I mention that it is bleeding money?

I’m waiting for the leftwing Arizona People’s Republic to make their endorsement. Knowing those liberal clowns, they will endorse “That One” in hopes of winning a Nobel and/or Pulitzer prize. That mob is really into winning “awards” and will do whatever it takes to win one. It will get them the controversy they seek anyway. Nobody really pays any attention to them so any ink they can get from other sources is always welcomed.

I agree.
I am quite surprised about the Dallas Morning News.
They are quite liberal.
That’s good news for McCain.

I believe you are on to something. Federal bailout for the ailing news media industry? 0bama certainly owes them for covering for him. And it would formalize a relationship that already exists.

Did I mention that it is bleeding money? Good to know. I sincerely hope that trend continues.

Thanks for the ping. I'm very curious to find out who the
Houston Chronicle is going to endorse.
The last time they backed a lib in a high-profile race (Ann Richards for Governor, 1990), they lost about 10,000 subscribers.
We'll see if they remember that. :)

Dallas Morning News was a conservative cross the board paper in the 70s
the Times Herald was the lib.
many big cities had opposing papers
Nashville had the Banner conservative
and the Tennessean lib
Banner disappeared in a Gannett engineered merger aquisition of both....

That homo Tony Ridder was smart enough to sell to those morons at McClatchy a couple of years ago.

I was shocked to open the Columbus Dispatch this morning and find that they endorsed McCain. They wrote a really nice editorial. (Columbus, Ohio)
To: pillut48
This really surprises me. This morning the liberal Waco Tribune Herald sat firmly on the fence and announced they won’t “recommend” one candidate over the other. This too was a surprise. I was sure they’d go with The Messiah.

I still cant get over the S.F. Examiner endorsing Mccain, which the Tampa Trib did as well today.
To: pillut48
I guess you’d have to go to Austin to find an Obamao endorsement down there. :-)
I guess the Obamao’s about as welcome in Texas as killer bees at a barbeque.
