A National Plague of Unlawful Voting

I have always disliked the "goo-goo" types. That stands for good government, the people who want everybody to vote. I don't want the uninformed to vote because either they will vote the familiar name or they will vote the way somebody tells them to vote. The goo-goo crowd must be in seventh heaven because in Indianapolis 105% of the voting age population is eligible to vote. Thanks to the so-called nonpartisan Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), a great many people who are dead, invented or just plain silly have registered. On FOX News one ACORN representative admitted that she tells everyone whom she signs up to vote for Senator Barack Hussein Obama. Jeanne MacIntosh of the New York Post got one 19-year old to admit he had registered 72 times in precincts all over Ohio. What was in it for him? Cash and cigarettes. That is a felony in Ohio. But what the heck, registered to vote in Ohio are Mary Poppins, Dick Tracy and Jive Turkey, according to the Wall Street Journal. In Nevada, where the FBI raided ACORN offices, the starting lineup of the Dallas Cowboys is registered to vote.

ACORN has registered more than three million new voters since Senator John Forbes Kerry was defeated by President George W. Bush in 2004. That was a very close election. Another three million votes and in a close election these votes probably will make the difference.

Currently ACORN is under investigation in Connecticut, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. All but Connecticut are closely contested states.

In some states new voters are put aside until their bona fides can be ascertained. In others there is no such provision. The Obama campaign has 30,000 lawyers ready to challenge the election in any close state. The McCain campaign has 5,000 lawyers for the same purpose. It used to be that in a very few places-Chicago comes to mind-there were sometimes irregularities but for the most part voting was treated as a sacred right of every American. The old story comes to mind of a stranger finding a kid sitting on a curb in Chicago crying his eyes out. The man tried to console the boy but the boy wouldn't stop crying. "There, there, nothing could be that bad," the man sad to the boy. "Yes it can. My daddy died three years ago and I hear he came back to life to vote and he didn't even bother to say 'hi' to me," said the boy.

Jokes like that in the past could be applied to a very few places with political machines. Now thanks to ACORN, we will be able to tell that joke all over America. Only it isn't funny. The entire political process is in jeopardy. Some elected officials of both parties have taken these fraud charges seriously. Others are being very partisan. In Ohio, for example, a United States District Court ruled that Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner was violating Ohio law by refusing to allow county election boards to verify the identities of voters registered by ACORN. She appealed to the United States Court of Appeals but the full court confirmed the District Court's early ruling. The Attorney General of Ohio has filed an emergency appeal to the Supreme Court of the United States, so the matter is not settled.

As of this writing a landslide is building for Senator Obama. If the race were to tighten during the remaining days, it could be months before legitimate votes are confirmed and a winner is declared. Think of Florida in 2000 and then multiply by a dozen. So unless there is a landslide due principally to ACORN's activities the American political process, once the envy of the world, will be shattered.

Remarkable...how little play the Indianapolis situation is getting in the MSM.

One thing seems certain...no matter who wins this election, the mainstream media will NEVER recover what credibility it had left.

It could be a nightmare scenario for America in any one of several ways. Hope for the best, but PREPARE for something else.

It was shattered in 2000, 2004, 2006. ACORN and Project Vote were not invented this year. I guess pointing out the vote fraud in those years would have appeared to support President Bush and as we all know, that must never be permitted.

I’m informed that the FBI is on the case. They should have suspects in custody in about 20 years.

ON the contrary;those who believe the mainstream media will use an Obamanation presidency as vindication of their belief the alternate media like FreeRepublic are out-of-touch kooks.

I despair of convincing any of the arrogantly opinionated liberals at work to actually consider other views.

Yesterday, SCOTUS sided with BRUNNER in Ohio. Yet, another suit was brought.

ACORN almost did it in 2004. THey’ve had a lot of help & money since.

THe 14th amendment no longer exists, folks. My vote is suppressed by the guy who came to Ohio from the Obama campaign and voted that same day. Strickland and Brunner do not give flying monkeys dung about the legitimacy of that.

I watched ABC 20/20 John Stossel's "Politically Incorrect Guide to Politics" last night. It was really eye-opening. I wish that I had taped it to watch again.

The "Voting for Dummies" segment was what really got me. All this "Rock the Vote" and registering high school and college students to vote and most have no clue who or what they're voting for. They don't know how many states, let alone, the number of Senators per state or who their House Representative candidate is... All they seem to know: "Obama" [good] and McCain [bad]...and they are voting for sure. John Stossel interviewed a Brian Caplan "The Myth of the Rational Voter" who said that they should not be allowed to vote, just like someone who does not know medicine to give medical advice. The guy was spot on.

These stupid are like mind-numbed-brain-dead idiots that will vote for whoever their told to by teachers, professors and their peer group...regardless of the consequences. To them, they are more informed voting for American Idol than in this election November 4th. May God help us.

Yeah, I'd say...
After the 04 election a Chicago FReeper did some digging and found that in the precincts that make up Englewood neighborhood (all Black), there were more votes cast than residents over 18 (per census). To make this fraud worse, more blatant, most (a majority) black males in Englewood are felons. This 'voting oddity' went unreported.

iirc Kerry 'won' Chicago by +/-800,000 votes and IL by 300,000 so cheating/fraud wasn't even needed. With Barry & ACORN the numbers will be even higher.

The dems just cheat out of fricken habit. But in Chi it will again go unnoticed and unreported. And this time I'd wager that more votes get cast in Chi than there are residents. Forget over 18, forget felons, forget illegals - just 'residents'.

It isn't a plague. Plagues are caused by microbes and spread independent of human volition, and those afflicted by them are innocent of any fault. It is a crime, not a plague. An organized, systematic, treasonous crime.

They have a couple of months at the most to bring those responsible to justice of Obama reaches office.

If Brunner won't do her job, she needs to end up like OJ -- her career and life should be a train wreck until justice is served.

Seems like Obama learned a thing or two when he was in Africa campaigning for Odinga. African despots like Mugabe are all expert on how to cheat during an election. Ballot-stuffing, standover tactics, whatever it takes to win an election dishonestly.

In Africa he would have had at his disposal any number of willing teachers to supplement what he already knew from his Chicago political machine training.

Enjoy this election, mates: after 2008 you may not need to vote ever again. Obama will make sure of that.
