Under Ohio's constitution and laws, there are two ways to remove a statewide elected official: impeachment by the legislature, or through a complaint signed by at least 603,413 qualified electors that is filed and tried in court.
The constitution says an officeholder can be impeached "for any misdemeanor in office," but that doesn't necessarily refer to a crime, said Steven F. Huefner, an associate law professor at Ohio State University, and Steven H. Steinglass, a law professor and dean emeritus at Cleveland State University. Rather, "misdemeanor" in this context refers more generically to any misdeed, and that ultimately is defined by the General Assembly, they said.

Its time to really do this. What is happening in Ohio with State sponsored voter fraud is beyond accepting. Obama campaign workers from other states openly voting using the studied and purposeful non-enforcement of the law is just beyond breath taking. Its denying my right to vote now and perhaps ever again.
If this isn't a crime there is no crime that will ever matter. Just power and threats and thugs. If we are to save our country and our lives we have to send a message to the Corruptocrats that have ceased Ohio.
This article was written about our Attorney General who had to be removed for being an open criminal and now another official elected at the same time has betrayed the public confidence with open defiance of the law.

This has to take place before the election or obama, as president, will merely scuttle any attempts at justice and reward her for giving him the presidency.

It could be done as we knock on doors and pass out campaign literature. 600,000 signatures isn't that many.. It sure would make headlines.. Ohio Secretary of State being impeached by petition would scream out how angry we are.. and remove this person from office if the charge can be made to stick.
If we get started this could be a done deal before election day.

The fact that the effort is begun and publicized is enough. The fact that we actually might get it done before the election would be national news for the whole week before the election.
Even if the MSM doesn't want to talk about it.. they couldn't help themselves.

Not an hour to loseNot an hour to loseWe need an Ohio Prosecutor to write up the language and we then just need to get the thing printed and distributed through the various campaign offices to the volunteers who are doing the door to door right now.

Can I just rent a house in Ohio and sign this petition? We would need a petition first. I doubt that you could rent a place and be registered in time.. unless you were a Democrat so not much luck there.
But you could knock on doors and pass out campaign literature and ask for signatures.. now that would work.

Who is next in line if (Heaven forbid, she would happen to have an accident and not recover)? I am in no way wanting anything to happen to her but just wondering if her successor would carry out the requirements that she refuses to do.

I’d love to get involved in this, but I do not live that close enough to a big city for door-to-door canvassing. The OHio FReepers could be pinged as a beginning if one can get the ping list. I’ll try to do that.

Who is next in line? This office would require a new election to find a replacement just like Attorney General election is happening right now.
But, frankly, it doesn't matter. The message would be sent. Enforce the law or lose the office. That should be easy to understand.
