funny you take the one example where the polls were close and disregard the other 7 examples of when they were not

As a fellow Virginian, I share your 2% status! It’s getting bad in areas of the state where a leftist ‘Rat would’ve been run out of town on a rail not too long ago. What the Hades is happening to our state and country???

Same thing in areas of Pennsylvania...in Philadelphia suburbs, for example.

It's the most recent example.

But if you want to get complacently confident, that's your prerogative.

no I just think it is funny that in a poll that oversampled dems by 15% Obama is only up 2%

Notice the oversampling. Someone did the math on the other thread, showing that if the sampling were even, it would be Mac 49, Zero 37

If McCain wins by 12%, the Liberal Messiah's apostles (i.e., the Liberal Media) will call for Revolution and Blacks will follow that call. They won't let something like an election stand in their way.

"14% undecided? That tells me there are a lot of people afraid to say they are not voting for Barry O."

I don't blame them given all of Obama's thugs and "Truth Squads" ripping into people's lives and threatening prosecution. If somebody called me and asked who I was voting for -- given that they know who I am and where I live -- I'd either tell them I am undecided or voting for Obama. Obama's people are scary!

Final polls in Florida and Ohio showed Kerry leading by 4 and 3 back in '04.

Polls from last week in Florida in 2004: George W. Bush had lead in 4, John Kerry had lead in 3, and 2 were ties. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/Presidential_04/fl_polls.html (RealClearPolitics spread: +0.6 Bush)

Late polls from Ohio (http://www.realclearpolitics.com/Presidential_04/oh_polls.html) overwhelmingly had Bush as the winner. Of the last week polls, only one had Kerry as the winner, and the RCP spread was +2.1 Bush.

I’m done with polls, I think they’re inaccurate, based on an outmoded sampling technique (landline phones), and self-serving to the political interests of the pollsters.

We have a great opportunity discredit polling this year. It is my hope that Obama goes into election day with a sizeable lead in the polls and McCain wins the election by a sizeable margin. Then we could spend the next decade or two talking about how "useless" polling is.

Polls are bs - McCain is going to win this race in a landslide - people are going to come out to the ballot and see his name and get spooked - Bradley effect part II.

Most of the socialistic thinking people live in and around the big metroplexes. Just think if the votes in those cities were thrown out.

It would be better if they didn't vote in the first place. This sounds awful, and may God forgive me, but there are days I wish He'd send the sinful cities and liberal colleges the vomit flu on Election morning. Call it YHWH's revenge.

Obamamessiah would have NO control over that. He'll have to settle for the dead people vote.

Hey, trust me, I've felt the same way at times. Truth be told, when judgment from God hits a nation it's usually the big cities that get hit the hardest.

Not that I want to try and predict something terrible will happen to this nation, but I think the way it's going something will. And it will most likely be a major city, maybe even cities, that get hit the hardest.

Listen to HamiltonJay. He’s right; and what’s more, he’s valiant.

Onward! I recommend a good dose of “The Two Towers.”

I am still waiting for a barrage of McCain ads in PA. Obama has 4-5 ads per hour to McCain's 1.

You assume people in PA want to see either one of them. There are many who especially don't want to see a black face that's running for President 5 times an hour. It may be ugly but there you go.

Obama himself is the message.

Thank goodness for Sarah and Joe the Plumber.

Feel sorry for Joe, though. He appears strong and will make it through what he thought was going to be two days of scrutiny.

It’s amazing that McCain stands any chance with the economic meltown. It just goes to show how weak BO is as a candidate. This should be easy for him, but he’s such a loon.
