Well that was a fun way to start the morning!
Steve Malzberg and Ed Schultz were guests on Fox and Friends when the topic of Joe the Plumber came up.
Steve went first, describing (correctly, I might add) that Obama's tax plan punishes success and was tantamount to Marxism, Ed responded with his own story about his sons' constuction company and spins a tale about how they'd do better under Obama's plan than McCain's.
Malzberg asks Ed whether or not they make 250K and Ed gets testy.
Extremely testy.
So testy, he gets up and walks away!
We see the cord from his microphone dangling for a few seconds and then we're treated to the extremely shocked faces of Gretchen, Steve Malzberg and Brian...who cannot believe what just happened.
The segment wraps up with everyone mock storming off set and leaving Gretchen to do the news and then the entire crew follows suit.
Except for Gretchen...who's now all by her lonesome.
Why is that these people never want to reveal how much they make?
BTW, yesterday Obama said very sarcastically, “I don’t know any plumbers who make over $250,000.”
He chops Libs up and spits them off to the side.
Didn”t see it but totally agree w your point ab talking over.
I watched it, replayed it on my dvr. Steve didn’t talk over him at all. They were having a discussion and Ed started whining about how every time he’s on, he gets interrupted. He acted like a big baby...hey, you’re a talk show host and pundit. Welcome to politics.
I saw that. The pisser is that nothing out of line was asked.
He complained about Malzberg talking over him, but that is the way of talking heads.
That is indeed the scariest part. Obama said yesterday, in a very mocking tone, that he didn’t know any plumbers who made over $250,000.
Obama obviously is clueless as to what the legal definition of a “small business” even is.
Check it out on sba.gov . There are size standards for what constitutes a “small business” in different industries, and-—thanks to American prosperity and our enormous economy-—many small businesses gross millions of dollars.
Jim Angle yesterday on Fox had some “WOW” statistics on how small businesses contribute to the economy, tax revenues and, most importantly, JOB CREATION. There was one quarter, IIRC, where 100% of new jobs were created by small businesses.
yeah, I really dislike fox and friends, I dont consider them to be very conservative, they just cuttup and do $hits and giggles. I would rather they do headline news segments and ditch that stupid ass format they have.
I might add even Barney Frank was man enough to stick it out with the bloviator.
Ed is an idiot. He usually talks over people on that show but this time he was talked over and didn’t like it. Why are so many Obama supporters angry. Like that witch from yesterday that kept yelling at the F&F team, he is just another spoiled angry lefitst that see their guy losing ground to “idiots” like Joe the Plumber and Palin.
Thanks for asking the question. Who is Ed Schultz?
LOL! Steve Malzberg is great. I’ll have to tune in when it’s on the net.
“Waiting for the commie-goons to march on FOX News... a ‘Kristallnacht on fair and balanced.”
They’ll break that glass when they come to it...
... IF they get into power.

"...and with my plan, I'll make sure we'll keep it that way." (No, Obama didn't say this last part...but then again, I don't think Mr. Spread the Wealth has to put words to what we already know, does he?)
Thanks, yes they "Gross" Millions, but with margins squeezed so hard they are squealing like a pig, why would you work hard during an Obama Admin?
How many will close shop? Or "work under the table"?
Will many pull a mini "John Galt" and sort of disappear until sanity returns?
Any way you slice it, we are in for interesting times not run by the financially ignorant, but by the financially stupid.
Last night Hugh Hewitt had small business call in with how the Obamster would effect them and what the economy is doing now. interesting listen it was.....
You should watch. Sometimes the best stuff on Fox comes from the Friends...Steve, Brian and Gretchen are quite conservative.
I love Fox & Friends, especially Steve and Brian!
Ah yes. This guy is a Kameel. I’ve heard him fillabuster before. He can dish it out, but apparently can’t take it.
Obama said, clear as a bell that it is fair to redistribute wealth in this country. We all heard him. I wish McCain drives this home big time in an ad. Just repeat it over and over again.
BTW, I have no idea who Ed Schultz is.
I Googled him and I still have no idea who is, LOL ... other than a liberal radio talk-show host.
Still waiting for the youtube video since I missed it this morning! Going to check to see if FOX has it up.:)
