NOTE: Obama lied through his teeth last night in the debate. One of his lies had to do with his denial of having long-term close ties to ACORN. That he can tell such blatant lies shows just how confident he is in the stupidity (or invincible ignorance and/or naivete) of his supporters, and that the corrupt mainstream media (98+% of whom are Democrats) will continue to carry his water and cover for him.

If it weren’t for the internet, talk radio, and to a lesser degree, FoxNews Channel (FNC) - the American people would never know how Obama lies through his teeth:

Breaking: Ohio Elections Chief Appeals Court Order Thursday, October 16, 2008 By Combined dispatches, Associated Press - Columbus, Ohio (AP)

Ohio’s top elections chief has asked the U.S. Supreme Court to intervene in a dispute over whether the state is required to do more to help counties verify voter eligibility. A spokesman for Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner (D) said Thursday that an appeal has been filed with the high court.

On Tuesday, the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati sided with the Ohio Republican Party and ordered Brunner to set up a system that provides names of newly registered voters whose driver’s license numbers or Social Security numbers don’t match records in other government databases.

The GOP contends the information will help prevent fraud. Brunner, a Democrat, told The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer on Wednesday that she is concerned the court decision is a veiled attempt at disenfranchising voters.

ACORN scam to “help you” stop foreclosure:

“.. while it’s important to document what ACORN is doing to enable voter fraud for Obama, here in Michigan, ACORN was also instrumental in the mortgage meltdown mess.

For 3.5 years ACORN-Detroit and ACORN-Flint were teaching people how to use the courts to thwart foreclosure proceedings, pressing law enforcement officials to resist serving foreclosure notices, working with state legislators to waive passed-due property taxes for homeowners and holding public forums to teach people how to protect other assets in debtor/collection lawsuits and use the CRA, HUD, MSHDA and FHA to secure added financing.

Meanwhile, at most of those public forums, ACORN was requiring attendees to provide name, addresses, phone numbers, past residential addresses, etc to register for the event(s). When you registered for the event, you got a nice tote bag filled with goodies including cigarettes, coupons for free Pepsi products, toys for kids, coupons for McDonalds, etc. Hard not to register and give up the information when ACORN is giving away goody bags.

In essence, ACORN is building a database in which to gather key information relevant to commit widespread voter fraud and the people registering to learn how to avoid foreclosure didn’t even know it.

In senior apt communities, where they are few -if any- homeowners, ACORN works with the apt staff to gather seniors together with their absentee ballots and actually helps “instruct” them how to fill out ballots and then carries them to the local clerk’s office. All under the guise of helping homeowners become “mortgage savy” while HUD helps finance these community advocacy group outreach efforts.

ACORN has argued that it’s ok to spend HUD monies this way because if a renter’s landlord goes into foreclosure, the renter loses his/her home.

BTW, as someone who’s worked on Voter Integrity Programs in the past, I can tell you that vote fraud is real and it is the best-kept secret by MSM today. I’ve literally watched and filed hundreds of complaints on Detroit residents voting 3-4 times on a single election day, Democrat clerk staff and volunteers coaching feeble voters how to cast the correct, pro-Democrat vote and watched ACORN volunteers sign-up Obama rally participants to use that data to enable further voter fraud.

Out of the 620 precincts in Detroit, Voter Integrity Program volunteers can cover about 35 precincts on Election Day –leaving 95% open to gross abuse and all of the absentee ballots unchallenged.

It’s incredible. And only exceeded by ACORN’s role in the mortgage meltdown mess –and how information from both programs are cross pollinating corruption. I guess it’s the change we’ve been waiting for?
