Eek. I’m so nervous and have been saying prayers for McCain throughout the day. The one thing I definitely know is that I won’t be watching; I’ll be following this thread.

McCain has lots of work to do and this is Miami. I just got a call from the Obama campaign a few minutes ago. When I was through with them they said it must have been some kind of mistake that my number appeared on their list and that was that.

WE have alot of work to do, not just MJ. WE must do the work the corrupt media will not do.

Get out and get info to the people you meet everyday, make fliers with information, talk to strangers while standing line, take right-leaning mags into any waiting rooms you are in, it does not take much time to talk with people just a quick “have you heard....?"

You’re going to laugh, but around election time I actually welcome the telemarketers. I let them give me their spiel, and then I tell them that since they called me, I’d like to take a minute of their time.

That’s when I go into my conservative talking points mode. I have been amazed at how many are just so unused to anyone actually talking to them, that they listen to me. And, quite a few have said they’d consider what I’ve told them. It’s amazing what a little conversation with a complete stranger can do. And most of them are young voters.

Shelayne, I have been fasting since Saturday. During confession I told my priest how angry I have been that no candidate was addressing the life issue.

He told me to fast and pray that our country be spared the nightmare he was afraid might happen to us in Nov.

I don’t have high hopes tonite after being let down at the last debate. Me thinks McCain t’aint as quick on his feet as he used to be - too many missed opps to slam obama, even with a “gentle” tone. Unleash hell, McCain, but do it with a smile.

I hid under the carpeting with the TV off till I tuned into FR and saw Sarah Palin was doing great. Then I turned on the TV and relaxed.

Same thing tonight. I'll hide in the silverware drawer till I read on FR that it's safe to come out.
