Just did that as part of FR’s prayer debate prayer chain. I asked for the peace that passes all understanding, and I am much calmer now.
Whatever happens, I know that God is in control and that is such a comfort to me.

I think McCain needs to relax and play his game. He absolutely needs to tell the country that Obama was suing banks to get them to lend crappy mortgages, then ask the question of how is a man who was intrumental in taking down our economy going to fix it?

At risk of violating the very principle I’m arguing in favor of, why do the posts for the “Live Thread” always start so long before the actual event occurs? Doesn’t that defeat the very purpose of the “Live Thread”?
I just think there should be a “Pre-Debate Thread” and then a “Live Thread”. That way there aren’t already 300 posts by the time the debate starts.

I would be appeased if McCain would go after Obama for his part in the economy plunge. This IS allegedly what the vaunted, very intelligent, superior thinking “undecideds” are concerned about so Obama and subprime mortgages are germane.
Ask me and I say anybody still undecided about this election is a boob.
