At risk of violating the very principle I’m arguing in favor of, why do the posts for the “Live Thread” always start so long before the actual event occurs? Doesn’t that defeat the very purpose of the “Live Thread”?
I just think there should be a “Pre-Debate Thread” and then a “Live Thread”. That way there aren’t already 300 posts by the time the debate starts.
Good idea to have a live thread at the beginning..can you start one?
McCain needs to just start talking the talk, irregardless of the question. Give his speech at the Rep. Convention!
