Lufkin, TX -- A pro-life woman who received an unsolicited phone call from the Barack Obama campaign complained about his pro-abortion position. The call earned her a visit from the Secret Service, who were apparently given erroneous information from the campaign volunteer that she made a death threat.

Obama is running a Red Brigade campaign.
I’m a little doubtful about this story.
For one thing, I said virtually the same thing - “Obama believes in killing the babies who survive abortion” -to the volunteers who called me before the primary - No one has called since they defeated Hillary. (I pretty much say the same thing to anyone about him, including the people who call our house looking for the Republican Chair, and who want information on Obama, and the difference between Republicans and Democrats.)
Second - I have a hard time imagining that the FBI would send agents even if she had said “dead on hospital room floor.”
Third - she said that she asked the agents for their badge numbers and they refused.
And I guess the woman who told Bill Clinton: "You suck and those boys died," was unhinged too when she was arrested in '96?
Should be Secret Service, not “FBI”
"Hughes said she asked the agents for their badge numbers and they refused to supply them to her."
Seems odd. Perhaps this lady should call the department and see if her visitors were phony. Isn't tht a crime?
I'd love to be able to toy with some Obamatron on the phone and keep them engaged for as long as I could, thereby preventing them from calling someone else.
After all, I've already voted. :)
"Phonebook?"
Cell phone numbers aren't in the phonebook. That's what we're talking about here, CELL phone numbers.
I would love to have these Obamatron braindead fools call me so I could twist their sentences around and raise their anger level to effects their following calls.
“Cell phone numbers aren’t in the phonebook.”
Was that specified in the article? That’s what I was going by.
Secret Service visits Lufkin woman after 'death threat' allegation from an Obama campaign volunteer
My favorite ploy is to pretend I am hard of hearing and to keep asking the caller to repeat whatever they are saying.
Then just sit back and chuckle while they scream at the phone.
If I am in a playful mood I will screw up their name or whatever they are calling about until they give up and hang up on me.
My thought exactly. He also said he wants them as well-trained and well-armed as the military.Guess the Party bigwigs don’t take this guy seriously.I already have a Colt Python and a Glock, maybe I need to get some more serious firepower before gun sales are totally banned.Remember, the 2nd amendment issue was upheld by ONE vote in the SCOTUS.
BRavo!!!Jessica !!!
“’I replied that I supposed she wasnt happy about what I said about her candidate and the Agent said ‘Thats right, you were rude.’ The last time I checked being rude wasnt a crime in America,’” she said.
“’Luckily the big file they had gathered on me didn’t indicate mental instability or a past life of stalking/crime, however they did want to know how I felt about Obama,’” she said. “’That was my limit. I told the Agent in no uncertain terms that my thoughts were not pertinent to their investigation, that this was America and the last time I checked I was allowed to think whatever I wanted without being questioned by the Secret Service.’”
She said the agents admitted there was no tape of the call and threatened that she could wind up in court or they would talk to neighbors and associates if she didn’t cooperate.”

LOL - I'd love to get one and ask lots of questions and get them all wound up talking about how wonderful Obama is. Keep it going for about twenty minutes and then I could say, "Oh, doggone it - I just remembered. I voted absentee a few days ago. For McCain. But it was really nice talking with you. I get kind of bored sometimes."
Also wondering how Obama pollster would be able to get someones cell phone number ....
caller ID maybe
She should sue the Obama campaign for thuggish intimidation tactics. LOUDLY. Is 0 gonna “distance” himself from his own CAMPAIGN (”this is not the campaign I thought it was”)?
After reading the article, I doubt seriously that the Secret Service was involved.
These guys give the impression that they think they are the thought police. They wouldn't supply their badge numbers? Did they supply their names (or pseudonyms, as the case may be)?
This woman has a cause of action to sue for slander. She was accused of committing a crime.
