Rush Limbaugh inteviewed Sarah Palin Tuesday for about 10 minutes in the 1:30 half hour. On the media front, Limbaugh noted that unlike the media, "you are the one that is holding Barack Obama to account." He said that the New York Times and the Los Angeles Times both praised how Palin is "the most dynamic and forceful" speaker of all four candidates, but they claimed her forcefulness is "driving away moderates. This is an attempt to get you to shut up."

Palin replied: "Well, yeah, they do want me to sit down and shut up. But that’s not going to happen. I care too much about this great country."

Palin also forcefully called on Obama to rein in ACORN and their "unconscionable" attempts at voter fraud. She said of the media, "There's too much ignorance, too much ignoring of his associations in the past." Limbaugh said if it weren't for the media, Obama "wouldn't be at 30 percent in the polls."

Palin aggressively went after Obama-Biden on taxes, suggesting there's a choice between a ticket to "create jobs" with tax cuts and restraining government growth, or a ticket that would "kill jobs" with tax hikes. She pressed on Obama to declare at what point, the economy is too weak to withstand his tax hike plans.

She also said her ticket was pro-growth, pro-life and pro-winning the war with the strongest military in the world, "or we could go in the complete opposite direction."

Rush asked if she was thinking about her political future after this race, and she said no, she's completely focused on November 4.

I agree with Palin. I'm going to quibble with the way she couched the arguement though.

If found myself using the word "sorry" in statements like this, when I wasn't sorry at all. I've tried to stop doing that.

Just replace sorry with "Wish on" here. The MSM can stuff it, and we're not sorry at all. Go Sarah!

I went to the Palin rally in Richmond yesterday. She absolutely electrified over 30,000 people. In Virginia Beach, another 23-30K people got a shot of Palin! The polls are complete BS and everything negative about the Hussein campaign is turned to positives while McCain/Palin are the devils. All designed to supress conservative voter turn out. From the looks of that Palin rally, nobodys being supressed.

I’d rather see her as president in 2012. Actually, I’d rather see her as veep in 2009 and president around 2010 when McCain retires to Sedona.

Doing the work McCain should be doing.

It's pretty pathetic that a combat veteran hides behind a woman's skirt.

Why would someone keep harping on issue that is not working. She might as well go ahead and get a tattoo of William Ayers on her face. Anyone cares besides the so called base? No. Is it hurting? Yes. When something is hurting your cause and you still do it, the only people who engage in that behaviour are radicals with some holy mission.

My mother (a poll worker and a Republican committeeman here) just about popped my eardrum a couple of minutes ago when she called here at work to tell us she was invited to go to he Palin rally this Friday up in Noblesville, reserved seats in the second row.

Haven’t heard her that excited about a rally in a looooong time.

Why are you even here?

Wouldn't you be more comfortable somewhere else?

“More you harp on personal attacks....”

What has been “personal” about Sarah’s attacks on Obama?

When you have ZERO record to run on (as Obama does) the only thing of substance you can attack is the person’s character. This provides a balance to the rhetoric he spins now. IE, to the independent voter who may swing, they need to know if they can trust whatever rhetoric drips from his mouth. With no real record of legislation, you have to point to his overall character.

BTW, these aren’t ‘personal attacks’ (boo hoo, cry cry, even if it was), these are issues of his character and the type of people who would have influence in his administration.

If Obambi can’t handle folks bringing up Ayers, Wright, Rezko, etc, how the heck can he handle dealing with Kim Jong Ill, Mamoud, Castro and other despots?

they claimed her forcefulness is “driving away moderates.

Continue driving Sarah. For every moderate that goes away you are bringing in 10 hard core democrats that are disillusioned with their party.

“Really, every single poll out there, including WSJ and Fox are cooked.

Maybe you have trouble dealing with reality”.

...maybe everything in your life sucks and this is just another item for you to sob over. Jump off a cliff, you’ll feel better.

She [Palin] said of the media, "There's too much ignorance, too much ignoring of his associations in the past."

LOL! Sarah just sprayed buckshot all over the MSM.

What personal character attack has Obama made on McCain or Palin?

My husband still insists that McCain will win by a landslide — due to bad polls, quiet McCain supporters, the midlanders who hold dear to Common Sense and (we) cling bitterly to our guns and religion.

Pay no attention to “The Republican behind the curtain”. He’s firmly convinced that “wealth distribution” is a gung ho idea and wants “the rich” taxed at 90 percent. Went rounds with him last night on this subject. He’s, at best, a bleeding heart RINO who wants more of your money in his pocket. Pleads poor mouth like an unbridled liberal.
