Even though I get most of my Canadian news from MacLeans, I think it safe to say that the Conservatives are in great shape for a huge win today!
Sometimes I honestly wish we had a qusi-parliamentary system here.

Let’s hope all the ndps and libs can’t be bothered walking to the polling booth today. On second thought, that might give them the idea for a mobile voting unit so they don’t have to budge. A Votemobile - that will be next.

We do not have exit polls in Canada.
I wish that I could say the same for us.

Do the Liberals/Socialists/Commies in Canada have ACORN to help commit fraud like the Democrats/Liberals/Socialists/Commies do here in the States?

Maybe a couple days of rising stocks will raise the tide for Harper.
This election campaign was mucked up by the economic news.
He may end up still having a minority government.
The Left is split four ways so I have no doubt the Tories will end up with the most seats.

Forgive my ignorance, are the Conservatives the only party on the right?
I know there use to be a libertarian/conservative party based largely in the West, am I correct that they folded into the Conservatives?

I wish we could get rid of exit polling here. If I get asked by an exit poller, I’m going to tell them I wrote in Mitt Romney.

Thanks, fanfan. My fingers are crossed until they’re blue — conservative, tory type blue. I am praying for Harper (and that Khan can hold on to his cross-the-floor seat).
Multiple prayers going up. Is a majority too much to ask this time???

When Americans get mad at conservatives for winning many say they will move to Canada. Where do the nutty Canadian’s say they will go if conservatives win there?
