Palin: We can't let 'leftist groups…steal this election' (Since McCain won't, get 'em Palin!)

The McCain campaign is fundraising off embattled community group ACORN.

“The truth is that far-left groups in this country will do anything to help the Obama-Biden Democrats win the White House and maintain their majorities in Congress,” Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin writes in a fund-raising e-mail sent out Monday afternoon. “And last week, we found out they're going even further to win.”

“The left-wing activist group, ACORN, is now under investigation for voter registration fraud in a number of battleground states. . . . We can't allow leftist groups like ACORN to steal this election.”

ACORN called the McCain camp’s suggestion “ridiculous.”

Agreed, but at this point I’ll settle for another Lee Atwater.

“I still think they’re playing Good cop/Bad cop”.

Of course they are, but McCain would still not take off the gloves under any circumstance. That fact that Palin is a fighter just gives McCain the out.

With all of the ACORN leadership saying it is the individual’s and not the product of its policy, one of the ground pounders is bound to come forward and spill the beans. Especially if one of the people on the ground are prosecuted.

We’re looking at that statement through *our* eyes, not the eyes of those who are truly unsure, uninformed and undecided.

Would it have been ~strategically~ wiser for Mac to *agree* with that woman and make himself look like a raving tinfoiler?

We may *know* she’s right in having great fear of TEO, but he can’t come off as an apron-wringing fear monger or the press would have a party with it.

I suspect he’s playing the in-control “gentleman” and letting Sarah shout out the silent thoughts of half of America.

Or at least, I hope.

I wish there could be a no-holds-barred verbal trial by combat but the “herd” is so easily spooked, these days.

A lot of Americans are oblivious to the truth and too much of it, shouted too loudly could cause a stampede.

*sigh*

What the hell happened to this great country?

Sarah, you are a God-send. Keep it up! Hit them over and over! The heart and soul of America is on the line here: Hit those who wish America ill!

He could've answered her in a manner that did not appear to endorse the media narrative.

"I hear what your saying and I know you have your family & country's best interest at heart. I do too..." or something along those lines. It wouldn't have been hard.

I have said the same thing on MANY posts.

McCain is in a no win situation, a Catch 22. so to get those swing votes....which is ALL that counts now...he has to appear reasonable, likable...Its a tough act to be as likable a s Obama comes off when Mccain isn’t a lying SOB.

You can criticize the campaign, but what else could you do in this Catch 22 situation? McCain could say what he Really feels and it would be OVER.

BTW...I got my IRA statement today and I am enraged!

But I will campaign for Mccain for :
1. Avoid if possible a nuclear hit
2. Avoid a total washout to socialism and total worsening economy for anyone that works for a living.
3. I despise Obozo.

"We can't allow leftist groups like ACORN to steal this election."

And if they do... then what?

(the question no one dares answer)

Good point — but it needs to be remembered that an operator who can move the polls still needs a candidate who can move the voters.

At the moment, given his surfeit of nicenes, there’s a good chance a vote for McCain will be cast out of sympathy, not conviction.

“Sarah knows that if you want to do something right, do it yourself.”

I love Sarah too! She is right and not afraid to speak up to get the truth out! Wonder if anyone out there knows what size the crowd was for Sarah today in Richmond. Wonder if we will get some Freeper reports from those who attended Sarah’s events today.

By the way, Colmes gives me a headache too. But tonight I watch for sure as Hannity is to interview Corsi tonight!

'With all of the ACORN leadership saying it is the individual’s and not the product of its policy...'

Oh, yeah...just as the leadership also claims ACORN is non partisan.

“We can’t allow leftist groups like ACORN to steal this election.” Palin
**********************************

A natural. She knows where to strike. And she has Palins.

McCain Camp has to buy this woman prime time slot- let her deliver McCain’s Economic Recovery Plan.

Also, buy her time on TV against Obama’s time slot on CBS- I bet ABC or NBC would have her at the same time for ratings. McCain has gotten a bump every time Sarah speaks nationally.

Her message, “with Obama, you go from frying pan into the fire.” Sarah’s media hot- use her. We have Sarah and they don’t.

Just keep talking Sarah, everybody is listening and more and more are actually hearing. McCain picked you for a reason, you know and most here know it. Believe me, we will pick you in 2012 and 2016. Count on it.
