I agree with the conclusion.
It is a very good line - too bad Watts doesn’t represent that any longer.
Hitch was hot to trot over the War on Terror, and he was a dedicated Anti Clintonista, so this swing to Obama does take me by surprise.
He will be back on M(essiah)SNBC faster then you can say “neocon:...
Another case of PDS.
Sad to see Hitchens return to his Marxist roots. I really thought for awhile that we had rescued him from the darkside. Guess not.
An empty soul like Hitchens that has only a simulation of an actual moral compass will go for the cheap imitation every time.
He has just validated his own future insignificance.
I find myself asking a series of “whens”.
“When” Hitchens turned on Bill Clinton and attended rallies in DC, I asked why we cozy up to these people who blow with the wind and are opportunists.
“When” the Republicans in Fairfax County gave speaking time to Democrat women who shouted anger at the way Hillary (not by name) was treated, and how they were now supporting Sarah, I was a part of a group who were angry. We BOOED them and some of the older men chanted “give her the hook”.
“WHEN” will our party ever WAKE UP?
You picked up on my comment!
Thank you!!
Hitchens has let his anti Christian hate get the better of him.
The conclusion on terrorism is worth reading.
Its a great internalized summary of someone who betrays the national interests to serve his own private bigotries.
I always thought that Hitchens would eventually join the pro-genocide crowd.
Welcome back home to your radical anti American leftists roots Christopher, I am sure they welcome you with open arms.
Hitchins has always been a man consumed by his own agenda. He was never to be relied upon, whether he spoke to the right or to the left. Nothing has changed.
“Hitch was hot to trot over the War on Terror, and he was a dedicated Anti Clintonista, so this swing to Obama does take me by surprise.

I think this was predictable on Hitchens’ part. Palin is religious, and Hitchens hates religious Christians (he’s fine and dandy with religious Muslims, though, being one of the biggest shills for Clinton’s ridiculous Balkans’ adventure).
Hitchens also never misses a chance to take a shot at Vietnam, and McCain, unlike Kerry, to this day believes that war could have and should have been won.
He offers exactly zero evidence to support this inane comment which flies in the face of all logic.
Barrack Obama openly, repeatedly and enthusiastically demanded complete capitulation to al Qaeda in Iraq, and abandonment of Iraq's enormous oil wealth to the fundamentalist islamic terror regime.
Perhaps Hitchens found some countervailing evidence of this by reading the tea leaves at the bottom of his Johnny Walker Black.
“Ouch! THAT hurt!”
LOL! Sorry, but I cannot tell a lie. He’s one of ours now, the good and the bad. At least he is pro-Iraq war effort bigtime.
Hitchens has never been anything but an unabashed and proud leftist, albeit one who had the good sense to despise the Clintons.
This from a proud atheist and alcoholic who admits that he drinks enough in a day to kill a moose.
yep...God bless her. I saw her today in Virginia Beach and let me tell you...the people LOVE her. When she was introduced I thought the roof was going to come of that building!
Two words that scare Hitchens the most: “Last call!”
Wow. Someone actually found a way to make stock fall faster than the DOW did.
Christopher, yours just went to zero in the Doughty household.
The pagan bound for hell Hitchins is a very pathetic animal not worthy of our attention!
