Polls showed Dr. Coburn losing big right before the election but he won going away. If he had listened to all the naysayers, he would have quit campaigning as they said he couldn’t win.

I did not know that. He is one of the very best, and thank God ... in spite of dirty Dem tricks... the people knew that.

So sorry to see this, as I have enjoyed your posts. But one last thought: Don’t let personal feelings re McCain obscure what is best... and what is worst.... for OUR COUNTRY.

I have I'm afraid, I faced it all last week.

And now I am just on a rampage against Hussein, and of course will vote against him.

My fault with McCain has never been on issues, because we all disagree on issues, it is with his continued capitulation to the press.

I think it is dangerous for him, and for those who come after him, when he takes orders from them, and is blackmailed by them, he only gives them more power.

And weakness us in the long run.

But I do think he is preparing to return to the Senate, and by dissing his supporters, gives him back his “maverick” status.
