I just saw the clip on Greta and don’t think it was anything to get hysterical over.

Love it! And I agree totally — this is much ado about nothing! Even some of the right-wingers on talk radio have said before now that if Obama happens to “win” it won’t be the end of the world and that he is not the anti-Christ. He’s wrong, and has very shady friends, and is probably way too involved in the various scandals that surround him but who could really argue that it appears he is an OK guy.

I think you misunderstood my post. I meant--what the heck kind of Obama talking point would it be to say that McCain doesn't think I'm a scary terrorist.

I do NOT think that Barry is a regular guy I'd like to invite for cocktails--he scares me to death. And I do fear for our nation's security if he is in office. My point was that I don't think what McCain said in the rally is something that will be used against him. Because again, what the heck kind of message would that be for Barry?

You’re right on target my friend. The GOP has missed a hundred opportunities to slam the radical left wing in this country and blew it. McCain is a symbol of the GOP party old and broken. He has now handed the country over to radical Socialist and we won’t recognize this nation in a few years. The Left has waited years for this and here it is...

I suggest you reread this thread from the beginning. People are seeing the light and echoing what I have been saying for weeks. Don’t shoot the messenger...

And as for your request in your post? No.

Excellent points, PKM.... we may not like what we hear sometimes, but we don't know why people are saying what they say, Everyone needs to keep in mind that agitatng is inborn in the people on Obama's team and the agitating is going to become intense over the next three weeks to try and throw both McCain and Palin off their game and try to get them to say the wrong thing to set off the democratic paid media to pound on him 24/7.. These things are pretty easy to predict, look at the Troopergate results today! We could have written the script.

There is entirely too much emotionalism here and not enough thinking strategically because of built in thought re: McCain... forget those paradigms and dig in for the final sprint, don your flak jackets and tune out the chatter.... things are not being said for our benefit now; Sarah was our red meat, what happens now is for the center, we cannot win without the center, no matter how much some wish it to be so.

Until the democratic party purges their far left both parties are going to be weak. We on the right are strengthened by a strong vs radical democratic party.

“Stand up for Conservatism people, dammit!”

I agree, stand up for Conservatism and make damn sure Barry does not win.

Barack Obama recently said, ‘The first thing I’d do as president would be to sign the Freedom of Choice Act,’ This legislation would wipe out all state and federal abortion restrictions including the partial-birth abortion ban.

I agree with that. Everyone in swing states should be voting for McCain.

Everyone NOT in swing states should vote their conscience.

People need to start thinking with their heads instead of their raw emotions. Put up a comparison chart of Obama v McCain and the choice is clear... mcCain in a landslide.

BTW speaking of landslides, Bob Beckel used the landslide terms today on Fox. that seems to be the Obamakins talking point this week. Next week it will be racism again.... they have been trying to get us to say something racist so they can cry racism since June... so far McCain has not walked into that trap.

So lemme see if I got this right: A presidential candidate with numerous ties to an unrepentant terrorist- a person who said- about his organizations bombings- "we didn't do enough"- a candidate who has ties to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac,- who directly caused the biggest stock market plummet in history-costing Americans their life savings - a candidate with ties to ACORN- involved in massive voter fraud across the nation- and who has the most liberal record in the Senate- who favors partial birth abortion- even to the point of not providing medical care to an infant who survives a botched abortion- This is NOT a presidency we should fear?

ARE YOU FREAKIN KIDDING ME MCCAIN?! DIDN'T YOU HEAR WHAT THE PEOPLE AT THE RALLY WERE SAYING?! WE ARE MAD!!!

With all due respect John McCain- maybe you need to take a moment to consider what this election is about- And what your role is. Ask yourself what's going to happen to this country if you lose? Your campaign has the research on your opponent, maybe you need to look at it.

This isn't about cocktail parties and "reaching across the aisle". Your opponent is NOT Joe Liberman.

And about that "reaching across the aisle" ?-Can you compromise on pro-life? Can you compromise on socialism versus capitalism? I have to wonder how strong your political convictions are, if you can so readily "compromise" them.

No offense to McCain- but, an Obama presidency WILL have dire consequences for our nation. Open your eyes Senator McCain.Please-before it's too late.

(I think these people at the rallies going too far are probably plants from the dem campaign.)

I don't get all this being so worried about "negative "campaigning. What do they mean by "negative"? Is it negative to point out your opponents radical ties? Don't the voters have the right to know that? How about voting records- the voters have a right to know about voting records?

We certainly do have a right to know about our candidates, voting, exc.... because whoever gets elected is going to have the power to effect our lives, through tax increases exc....Who will bail us out from a Socialist take over of the USA?

This election is crucial to the future of our country, but, as usual the Republican's have done little to nothing to demonstrate that they "get it".

Pray.

Remember how we were all afraid of his temper? That he would snap, lash out, embarass himself. He doesn’t want us hardcores comming off as bigots as spooking the squishy middle. We know Obama is an Arab (hence the name...duh), we know he’s probably a decent father...I would think he is. But we also know he is an evil, communist SOB, born bred and raised to destroy America...and he scares the SH;t out of me.

I fear Obama as president for one specific reason; I do not want my daughter growing up hardend like the Russian 20 somethings I work with. Leftism kills souls.
