In a broadcase e-mail from Newt on Oct 7, it said that a $300 Billion realestate bailout bill passed _last summer_ contained $500 million/year for ACORN:

Then must have needed the money _before_ this fall to fuel the vote fraud!

ACORN is a left-wing, political extortion racket. It's currently busy bussing people to vote early in Ohio and elsewhere - these are your tax dollars at work. You get taxed to send a left-wing group money to use to elect left-wing predatory politicians to raise your taxes to give more money to groups who help them get elected, etc.
It was suicidal for a Republican president to sign that housing bailout bill and any bill that contains funding for groups so radically opposed to the values and interests of the vast majority of Americans.

Obama has been directly tied and involved with ACORN, for a long time, and through his instrumentality we are seeing our free market and our voting process subverted and deconstructed before our very eyes.
But there is hope, despite what the push polls are saying, and Obama and his campaign and the MSM all know it, and fear it.
Inquiring minds want to know.
I would also like to see some of these fraudulent canvasers brought into a court and charged with voter fraud. It is a national law not to tamper with elections, isn’t it?
I’d like to know as well. It was said that the bill that was passed (like too many others) was never read/reviewed. Easy to put things in.... like the mental health law that wouldn’t pass on it’s own.
It is a set aside that ACORN has access to.
I saw a congress critter on Fox raising holy hell aand demanding the money be blocked.

Stanley Kurtz was on Bill Bennett’s radio show this morning and he has been researching these Ayers / Obama files. This is breaking news and apparently, Charles Krauthammer wrote an article about it that was published this morning. Obama was chair of the committee that funded ACORN and their radical education agenda. ACORN also pushed (an understatement) fannie may and freddie mac to make these bad loans and used extreme pressure tactics to do so.

My grandparents have been life-long Democrats, but are voting Republican for the first time in their lives. They received a call last night from someone from the Democratic Party asking if they could send my grandparents absentee ballots to fill out so they wouldn’t have to go wait in line. (They are in their 80’s) They said sure.
Should we be worried? I don’t know anyhting about absentee ballots. We always vote in-person. Will they be able to vote in this general election if they are still affiliated with the Demoncrat party?
Imagine what they can do when they have all branches of government in control.

What they are doing is better described as a coup.
The coup d’état succeeds if its opponents fail to thwart the usurpers, allowing them to consolidate their positions, obtain the surrender of the overthrown government or acquiescence of the populace and the surviving armed forces, and thus claim legitimacy.
The rigging of this election by a government funded organization amounts to a Coup attempt by the Democrats (socialists) to take over teh government of this country.
