There are 27 days left for you to make a difference in the 2008 political season.
What you are doing in a POSITIVE way to help elect McCain/Palin and Republicans and defeat Obama/Biden and the Democrats?
Please note that the following actions do not count:
1.) Seagulling on a thread highlighting positive developments.
2.) Offering the McCain campaign advice on what they should be doing (unless you're a paid political consultant with years of experience, that is).
3.) Thinking you're funny by saying, "I did nothing." The prospect of Barack Obama as president of the U.S.A. is not funny.
There are many positive, meaningful things we can and should be doing to help achieve victory. Much of this involves volunteering for the campaign and getting out into your community with the truth about Obama and his abysmal record, inexperience, and shady associates.
The media won't do it, so it's up to us. Are you up to the challenge?
If so, sound off on this thread!

volunteered at RNC headquarters here in town, manned phone bank for 4 hours , signed up to be a poll watcher on Nov. 4.,bought Sarah Palin apparel for my daughters and myself, called my deeply religious sister and convinced her not to vote for Obama (still working on my Dad), argued (and kicked A$$) with an Obama supporter who foolishly assumed I was an Obama fan, and bought Corsi’s book. Can't wait til tomorrow.!!
To: IronJack
Neither is the prospect of John McCain as president of the USA.
McCain is acceptable if not preferable. Like him or not, he's a bona fide war hero and a patriot.
Obama is an outright international socialist. He's a radical ally of the far left with violent and racist associates. If that's not enough to get you to the polls, then you deserve to live under a regime headed by such a person.
Sarah Palin as VP is the real reason I'm pumped for this election. If McCain wins, Sarah wins, and in the end, we all win.

I answered the phone when the RNC called to demand (yes, demand) a $300 donation, listened politely, and hung up.
I then donated $100 to my Representative.
Since when does the RNC not only DEMAND a donation, but tell you how much it will be? W T F ???

O my gosh, most important of all-—started the day with prayers for Palin and McCain and our great nation.

But I did what I had to do, got in his face, right Barry Hussein Obama.
Love it! Well done!

I finally got on my local newspaper's forum and started posting material about Obama. Naturally I immediately got feedback which I have been replying to.
What irritated me was one of the newspaper's columnists who wrote a silly article about ‘why can't we all just get along’ as to politics, lol!

Ive been spreading the word about Obamas relationship with his former employer/mentor/friend Bill Ayers. Despite what the pundits on television and in print have been telling us, I think that this is a positive thing to do.
I agree. Getting the truth out there about Obama is always positive and we can't expect the media to do it for us. You can flip votes with this information and it should be used accordingly.

I talked to my college aged daughter about Obama's radical past and how Ayers, etc fit into the picture - knowing she'll go back to classes on Monday and tell her friends.
Great. Every youth vote we can flip is one less for Barry O. Focus on the responsible ones--i.e., the ones who will actually make the effort to vote on November 4.

I am posting like crazy at CafeMom, trying to combat the mindless masses. I have been checking in over here for the latest scoop but we’re preaching to the choir, folks!
Go out and find forums at aol or elsewhere and do battle. Keep in factual—there are plenty of people on the fence. The libs can be quite nasty, but we can handle it! Quit hanging around with those of a like mind set. Get off the conservative blogs for a bit.
Also, volunteer to go door-to-door and make GOTV phone calls with your local GOP headquarters. I can’t do it this weekend, but did last weekend and will next.

It's hardly defeatism to demand that McCain put on the big boy pants and fight.
I do not regret supporting him with my money and effort.
But I do regret that he appears to be wasting it.
All the support we have to give won't do a lick of good unless McCain knocks off this Marquis of Queensbury shtick in the last debate.
So yes, I demand to know just what he has done this week to help Republicans win.
As for it never having been like this for 10 years, I'd have to agree. Few of us have had to deal with this kind of challenge, myself included. No matter who wins, the next 4 years are going to be a whole new ballgame.

1. - wrote 5 blog articles (readership near 900 visits in only 3 weeks) http://redgirlrising.blogdns.net/
2. - donated $ to Victory
3. - gave away 4 yard signs and bumper stickers
We can do this! We have to do this, otherwise so-long free markets and freedom. hello socialism.
To: Antoninus
1. Stopped into the local GOP HQ to get a M/P sign. They were out.
2. Did say I’d be back to hit the phones, which I will. We CANNOT let Ohio slide to obomber.

He better pick it up a notch. Is it true that he has ruled the Rev. Wright off limits? So far he is letting the girl do most of his heavy lifting.

Worked at headquarters for 2 3/4 hours, commented in liberal rag comment sections, called everyone I know to invite them to see Palin in Richmond on Monday.
