27 Days Left -- What did you do TODAY to help Republicans win?
Free Republic Exclusive | 10/9/08 | Antoninus

There are 27 days left for you to make a difference in the 2008 political season.

What you are doing in a POSITIVE way to help elect McCain/Palin and Republicans and defeat Obama/Biden and the Democrats?

Please note that the following actions do not count:

1.) Seagulling on a thread highlighting positive developments.

2.) Offering the McCain campaign advice on what they should be doing (unless you're a paid political consultant with years of experience, that is).

3.) Thinking you're funny by saying, "I did nothing." The prospect of Barack Obama as president of the U.S.A. is not funny.

There are many positive, meaningful things we can and should be doing to help achieve victory. Much of this involves volunteering for the campaign and getting out into your community with the truth about Obama and his abysmal record, inexperience, and shady associates.

The media won't do it, so it's up to us. Are you up to the challenge?

If so, sound off on this thread!

Not that it will make much difference here but I’m getting my McCain-Palin yardsign tomorrow!

McCain loses. Obama becomes president. How is this a good outcome in any way, shape, or form?

What is the bloody difference at all? The current Bakerite globalist/socialist Republican administration just instituted and helped to pass this travesty of a corporate bailout (with the help of their rino friends in congress, McCain included, and now threatens to socialize the banking industry. WTF, over? Where the hell will you people finally draw the line? What maes you think that the Bakerite globalist/socialist McCain is going to be one whit different than his predecessors?

Besides, Palin isn't a RINO and McCain picked her. For that, and that alone, McCain deserves our support.

There isn't enough track record to know what Palin is- That she is more conservative than McCain isn't hard to prove, but isn't saying much. But to say that she is a Hunter or a Pence, or merely a moderate of Thompson's caliber.. Can you say?

Besides, GHWB had a fine Conservative in Quayle, GWB had Cheney... How has that helped Conservatism in the least?

It is Whimpy's promise: "I will gladly pay you Thursday for a hamburger today..." Except Thursday never comes.

We owe McCain *nothing*. He is a traitorous bastard. He will betray us all. He shows us that DAILY.

Why not come out and admit you're a socialist and quit hiding?

The university was supposed to be about opening your mind and exploration. Unfortunately, it closes young minds after polluting them. Makes me want to get a refund from U of O.

Good luck getting one.

Your story is a common one and the liberal elites on college campuses have made it very clear that they intend to brainwash our kids. Personally, I won't be sending any of my kids away to school unless they demonstrate the aptitude, both intellectual and spiritual, to survive and thrive in such a climate without losing our values.

Why not come out and admit you're a socialist and quit hiding?

You do realize that what you're doing is actually working for Obama.

If you wanted to fight this fight, the time to do it was during the primaries. They're over, btw.

You can either suck it up and vote for McCain/Palin, or be an Obama shill. But if you choose the latter course, don't expect any of us to treat you as anything other than the enemy.

.

Well he or she wasted 20 minutes defending Barack Hussein Odinga Junior!

You destroyed him and his 20 minutes in less than a day!

He can’t debate a person who knows the truth and the hidden history and agenda of Uhbama Inc.

My daughter graduated from U. of Oregon last June and I am very sorry to report that they sucked her brain out of her head.

I really feel for you - I guess I we were more fortunate in that we taught our daughters very young...and believe it or not...they grew up without MTV. That and keeping them in a good Bible believing church was probably the key for us.

My eldest was born in '88 and my youngest in '90. We lived in a small 2/1 w/825 Sq ft. so that I could stay at home with them until they were 10. And I might add, we did this in Broward Co. Florida - where I grew up. (We moved to N Florida 9 yrs ago)

In 2000, I went back to school so I could go back to work and put them through school. They watched me work hard to make good grades and learned how important it was to excel.

Today, both are very conservative Christians who are confident in their beliefs and not easily swayed.

They kill the opposition with kindness - that alone just gets Dems so angry.

MONTHS, he said he spent 20 months refuting all that I posted and was ‘tired’.

Maybe he was tired as he wasn’t back earlier but he will be.

Im voting against OBAMA,[...]

So am I.

[...] and for PALIN and the old guy.

and *for* amnesty.
and *for* the LOST treaty.
and *for* socialized health care.
and *for* bailouts for people defaulting on mortgages.
and *for* a socialized banking system now, it seems.
and on, and on, and on, and on...

You on the other hand are a sniveling malcontent whining that McCain isn’t conservative enough.

No, McCain isn't Conservative *at all*, and more to the point, is historically a traitor to conservatism, and a conspirator in direct collusion with our opposition- nay, our hated enemies. To compare him with Reagan is simply lunatic.

Reagan when I voted for him in 1980.

I voted for Reagan too, and McCain is no Reagan. Reagan reached across the aisle to embrace the Christian Right, and give them a seat at the table of Reagan Conservatism. McCain endeavors to disrupt Conservatism, abhors the Christian Right, and is reaching across the aisle to embrace socialism. And you assist him.

Go pound sand idiot.

The feeling is mutual.

Authored an article directing voters to get educated on BO via obamafiles. (To know him is to disown him)
Emailed to newspapers in 12 cities/towns in places I’m associated with.

You do realize that what you're doing is actually working for Obama.

No. What I am doing is working *for* Reagan Conservatism, which, quite unfortunately, pits me against the lion's share of the rhinestone Republicans here on this forum.

This is no fine line where you and I can amicably agree to disagree. This is a matter of glaring error, especially since the bailout and the ensuing threat to socialize the banking system.

If you wanted to fight this fight, the time to do it was during the primaries. They're over, btw.

Big Business interests have always been the money in the Republican party, and with the primaries hopelessly stacked with RINO states and open voting, no Conservative can survive long enough to get to get to the red states, where Conservative money lies. Since he can't get the votes, his mike is taken away at the debates, so conservatives are effectively stifled before the Conservative base can even hear them, and you well know it. It is plain to see.

There were *no* Conservatives by the time red states got a say.

You can either suck it up and vote for McCain/Palin, or be an Obama shill.

Screw McCain, and screw 0bama. I will continue to defend Reagan Conservatism- Something y'all seem to have forgotten.

But if you choose the latter course, don't expect any of us to treat you as anything other than the enemy.

Knock yourself out. You have no intellectual argument. All you can do is throw poo and cry, even as you do now. You know damn well I am not supporting 0bama. You are just offended that I refuse to support your scurrilous bastard of a candidate, and have no means to defend him- so that is what you must resort to.

Screw McCain, and screw 0bama.

Sorry, in the real world, if you screw McCain, you get Obama. Chuck Baldwin and his 0.3% of the vote won't save you.

McCain is far from perfect. But he is pro-life. He's pro-2A. He's in favor of victory in Iraq. And he picked Sarah Palin. Those issues are easily enough for me to get enthusiastic, especially compared to the disaster that Obama would be.

Your ill-timed ranting aside (I don't remember seeing you around during the primaries, bub), thanks a bunch for bumping this thread.
