I wouldn't believe it either if it wasn't on tape. This is much worse that Barack Obama's intolerance of those who disagree with him. The worst part is, the media is ignoring it.

I’m not in Virginia, but it sure is offensive to me as well - as a Homeschooler myself!

As for the “Christian Coalition” - what do they think we meet like their communist buddies meet and plan revolutionary actions or something? These people have NO CLUE what it means to be a Christian, none at ALL. They continually put light for dark, and dark for light - bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. We we warned about people like this a LONG, LONG time ago.

It is not “us Christians” he should be afraid of — it’s those who would come to power under his COMMUNIST ideology!

I’ve got news for him... According to KGB defectors back in the 80s - the communists take out their “strongest supporters” at the same time they take care of the “strongest dissenters” because those who believe in the “liberal ideals” become some of their worst enemies when the plans are fully realized. He’ll be one of the first on the list to go if Communists do take over this country, and he’ll be standing in line for the gallows right beside those same “homeschoolers, and Christians, and gun owners” that he was so afraid of...

Under Obama's guidance the left is becoming more and more open -- bragging, even -- about their true, ugly socialism. To the point where they're quite comfortable in publically condemning Christians who think babies shouldn't be killed in utero. People who believe in the 2nd amendment. People who educate their children outside the confines of a government facility. All these things, they find threatening. UnAmerican.

Couldn't have said it better myself. They're already making the "Michael Malone" character look subtle, an understatement even. If Obama's elected with a filibuster-proof senate I can't imagine what lengths they'll go to in order to erradicate all of these "un-American" (translation; distinctly and traditionally American) things they find threatening. We won't recongize our own country 4 years from now if that's the case, and we won't be welcome here at all in 8 years if things continue along that path.

Although I’ve heard my fair share of bad stuff coming from the mouths of “Republicans” (especially back when I was a Libertarian) I really wonder how many of those “establishment Republicans” as you call them are REALLY Conservatives? No true conservative I have ever known is against any of the things you’ve listed.

Please also remember the following — the Communists have warned us for decades of their plans to infiltrate ALL parts of American society, and that includes the GOP. Just keep that in mind — there are many RINOs (Republicans in name only), as well as what I’m sure you would call “moles” or “spies” as well. Some won’t openly cause dissension, at least not when it would for sure “out them”, but you can be sure they’re there.

You may be interested in watching this interview with Yuri Alexandrovitch Bezmenov. He was a high-ranking KGB officer, and the son of a high-ranking Soviet Army Officer. He defected to the “West” in 1970, and this interview explains the Communist plans in detail. He speaks about Ideological Subversion, psychological warfare, propaganda, and such. VERY educational, and it explains what we are dealing with RIGHT NOW as far as Obama, his handlers, mentors, supporters and such.

I completely agree with you! The only thing I would suggest is that we all stop using their “pretty word” of socialism. They are NOT socialists. They are Communists, no ifs, ands, or buts!

Remember - Socialism and Communism are the same ideology. However, Socialism ADMINISTERED through a centralized government is NOT socialism, it is COMMUNISM. Once we get people to make that connection our job will be immensely easier because in the majority of Americans minds Communism still equals EVIL. They are tricked by the “soft word” socialism.

An example: Chavez calls himself a “socialist”, and calls what he has done in Venezuela “socialism”, however it is the very definition of COMMUNISM - complete and total control by the government of all aspects of society from education, to the media, to corporations, etc... etc...

I know we don’t have much time, but I truly think we really need to start pushing this point. Another term would be Marxist/Leninist. People don’t understand why “socialism” is bad - but they DO still know about Communism. At the very least anyone around 30-35 and older remembers very clearly the Soviet Union, the Cold War, the threats of Nuclear War, and Reagan and Thatcher. And that is something we can build on...

All JMHO, and just a request, but I truly think it will help if we all start calling them what they really are...

Hussein Obama’s (D-Kenya) candidacy is a threat to the Republic - no doubt about it. Based on his previous associations, it is clear that he is at least comfortable associating with communists. McCain might be marginally better in some respects (debatable), but with a Democrat Congress, he’ll be “reaching across the aisle” on just about every major issue. I won’t be supporting him. OTOH, I will be supporting my local R Congressman (Culberson) because his voting record is OK - and he has been endorsed by Ron Paul’s liberty PAC.

Regardless of who wins, the grassroots has its work cut out for it. We need to get real constitutionalists in positions of leadership at all levels of the party. We need to support and elect solid constitutionalists and conservatives to local office.

In regards to socialism, communism, and totalitarianism: Using these words to convince someone of the danger Obama poses is almost a sure way to tune them out. "Oh come on", "I know he's liberal, but a communist?" "What, like Hitler? Gimme a break." It's like there's a complete void of understanding of what these things mean, that they exist in the here and now, and how they are very effectively and methodically being put into place via the Democrat machine -- and the media.

I know because I went to a private Christian school and I wasn't prepared for the liberal hatred and vitriol I found in college.

My two grandkids are being homeschooled by their mother except for one day a week at a Veritas academy. My 12 yo grand-daughter attended a very good Cristian school through 4th grade. But good private schooling is expensive for two kids, and my son lost almost a year's work, and a big loss in pay, to his cancer treatment, so they decided to try homeschooling. Both my grand-daughter and my 6 yo grandson are scholastically way ahead of their government schooled neighborhood friends of similar age, but I wonder if their lack of contact with other kids in school room and school yard settings will leave them socially incompatible with government schooled kids when they reach college age.

Actually, if left up to me I would not send them to any secular college or university where their religious beliefs will be ridiculed and challenged by both their professors and their fellow students. There are many good Christian colleges out there, but most of them are oriented toward educating candidates for some type of Christian service or the ministry. We'll just have to wait and see how things work out when that time comes I suppose. Who can say, they may both be called to full time Christian service as my daughter was, and nothing would please me more.
