Who Mark Warner Views as a Threat to America
Jim Gilmore for Senate ^ | 10-9-08 | Virginia_Patriot1776

Posted on 10/09/2008 11:49:44 AM PDT by Virginia_Patriot1776

This audio clip shows just how intolerant Mark Warner is.

"...one of the things you're going to see is a coalition that has just about completely taken over the Republican Party in this State; and if they have their way, they're going to take over the State Government. It's made up of the Christian Coalition. It's made up of the right to lifers. It's made up of the NRA. It's made up of the home schoolers. It's made up of a whole coalition of people that all sorts of different views that I think most of us in this room would find threatening to what it means to be an America."

I wouldn't believe it either if it wasn't on tape. This is much worse that Barack Obama's intolerance of those who disagree with him. The worst part is, the media is ignoring it.

I am a Virginia Homeschooler, so this is highly offensive to me.

I think this could very well change some minds. I will pass it around here, though most people I know are already voting for Gilmore.

There, fixed it. Just missing a couple words was all.

Mark “ass clown” Warner will win, but mostly due to Northern Va and Gilmore is perceived as a weak, old, tired candidate. He’s the Bob Dole of Va. I would do anything to see Warner defeated by Gilmore. Not gonna happen. His rep as a successful Governor is why. Even though he taxed the sh17 out of us.

How can the great state that gave us George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Robert E. Lee produce such a seditious b#stard as Warner?

I have already resigned myself to the “Affable Android” being the second U.S. Senator from my unfortunate and failing Commonwealth.

It is enough to make me weep, but I do not think Mr. Gilmore has a chance.

Let’s see....

I try as best I can to be a Christian (but am far from perfect; I consider myself to be “under reconstruction”).

I am a “right to lifer” (all part of being a Christian).

NRA? Yep, I got guns. Want to see them?

I wasn’t home schooled, neither are my kids. But my nephew was; he turned out OK. I’ve got nothing against home schooling if done right.

Well, I guess that makes me some sort of deranged monster to the left. I never thought of myself as anything other than a regular guy.

That's not just one of the things you're going to see in the Republican party, that's the base of the Republican party, most of the the others are liberal RINOs

It's made up of the Christian Coalition. It's made up of the right to lifers. It's made up of the NRA. It's made up of the home schoolers.

Sounds to me like a pretty darn good group of American people. I fit right into all four categories like a hand in a glove, and most Republicans I know do as well. Apparently Warner finds real Americans strange and dangerous. When I was growing up 60-odd years ago the kind of people he's talking about were the normal American people.

Mark, you ignorant slut ...

I'm a Christian. And a gun owner. And a right-to-lifer.

I'm not a threat "to what it means to be an American".

I AM an American.

You, OTOH ????

I wasn't homeschooled and I'm not from Virginia, but I nevertheless find it highly offensive as well. I have every intention of homeschooling my own children and some of my best friends were homeschooled. When I do start homeschooling I'll be sure to use this remark to remind my children that there are those in the world who will hate them just because they were raised with Christian values and morals in their home. It can be a hard thing for a person to understand or even believe when they haven't been raised with a liberal ideology and education - I know because I went to a private Christian school and I wasn't prepared for the liberal hatred and vitriol I found in college.

For the umteenth time this has been posted here on FR, it's NOT going to change the "Warner landslide" outcome UNLESS some ouside group [a 527] with some extra money puts this on state-wide TV [many-multiple times].

Gilmore is broke compared to Warner and Gilmore is double-digits down in the polls.

It would take a divine miracle for Jim Gilmore to catch up, pass and beat Mark Warner. People don't seem to care that Warner was for the bailout and for higher taxes and against drilling offshore and ANWAR...et. al. and Gilmore is just the opposite. It doesnt seem to make a difference that Warner has lied over and over about Jim Gilmore...

I was hoping for Bob Marshall in the primaries, but I'm not sure that he could have beat Warner either.

Warner & Webb! What a pair of total dirt-bags.

What I’d like to know is who is “...most of us in this room...”? Is he in a room full of socialist communists?

Unfortunately, establishment Republicans also view pro-gun, pro-life, pro-Constitution, pro-education (ie. pro-home school), pro-family conservatives as a threat.

Under Obama's guidance the left is becoming more and more open -- bragging, even -- about their true, ugly socialism. To the point where they're quite comfortable in publically condemning Christians who think babies shouldn't be killed in utero. People who believe in the 2nd amendment. People who educate their children outside the confines of a government facility. All these things, they find threatening. UnAmerican.

We are on the precipice, folks. And I do mean, of the abyss.
