While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.
I’m so over the ‘earmarks’ thing...and the ‘bi-partisan’ thing...and the ‘across the aisle’ thing...where’s Governor Palin?
McCain got the first question again. Hillary remembers how that works.
Concern TROLL alert. 50 posts in four years does not a freeper make.
I wouldn’t call him terrible but he sure isn’t a debater. What a blanking disappointment.
I’m afraid our cause is lost. Get ready for an Obama presidency with a rubber stamp House and Senate bought and paid for by the Democrats. Lord Help Us.
I’m trying to figure what kind of economic adviser he could have who would suggest we buy up and rewrite everyone’s mortgage. I’m having a hard time figuring out who would own up to it: it sounds too much like McCain himself to me.

I am just about ready to declare both of these idiots as idiots and unfit to be President of any country.
If we let Obama win, this might be our last free vote. Take your pick.
Pathetic isnt it.....
Just hope that McCain does not commit the sin of checking his watch at some point.
Just get ready for President Obambi, and the radical, Bolshevik, leftist, dystopian nightmare that will descend on this country...
Brokaw is not doing much to energize this debate. Get Gwen “I’ve Got a Book” Ifill back!
I’d say it’s equal. Nether are doing any good.
They really are undecided, at least the ones I know who were contacted by Gallup to participate. I know Teresa Finch who just ask the question about trust. I know an undecided leaning McCain who was selected but couldn’t go because he had to be there from 9 am this morning until 10 pm tonight, and as a CEO of a large company in a perilous economy, he couldn’t be away from work that long.
They are reading off cards so that they don’t make a stupid mistake on National TV.
“obama is out of touch: He said were paying $3.80 for gas. Prices are down to $3.20.
Not in northern Illnois.”
Gas in my area, New Hampshire, is between $2.95 and $3.45 a gallon on the 13 mile ride from my home to my work.
Well since I don’t think McCain is doing tha great his time tperhaps the American people see it differently. He needs to be more confident in his answers.
Obama: “People don’t eat out as much”
Really? This past weekend I went to the ESPN Zone for dinner in Baltimore and the wait was 2 hours!!!
>>>3.16 in Southern Minnesota.
2.94 -2.98 here. NC IA
Whiny posts? How about reality?
Wow, he’s talking about the air force tanker...AGAIN.
Not attacking Obama...AGAIN.
Need to cut spending....AGAIN
Gasping and stuttering. No passion.
I’d prefer Biden over Barry.
These guys seem like the VP nominees, and Palin and Biden seemed like the Presidential nominees.
