Nationwide 2004 about 64% of registered voters voted. So at that voting rate 93,440 should vote in Arlington with an increase of 13,440 in Arlington alone. That’s a 14% VOTER increase with there only having been a 5.5% increase in total population from 2000 to 2004.

On the plus side, every voter has to present picture ID before being allowed to vote

You are, of course, missing the illegals now registered (multiple times each of course - even those NOT living here any more!), the dead, the homeless, those just working in that area, but voting in both places, and a bunch of DC residents being bussed south to vote in VA.
I may have missed a few others.

My county is approx a million, and I heard on the news this morning 500,000 registered to vote. That seems very high to me.

Macomb County voted for Clinton twice and then voted for Gore. They narrowly went for Bush in 2004.
I'm fully aware of that........However the county continues to elect Republicans for local and state positions. My state rep is a republican as was her predecessor and our U.S. Congressperson is Candice Miller who by the way scolded Bush in a local newspaper column for supporting the bail out........She voted against it.......

That's not really an issue considering the voting block has been changing over the past 16 years due to Black Flight from Detroit.............The districts that matter (mine) have been Republican for several election cycles now and the Democrat districts (Roseville, Eastpoint, Centerline, Warren, Clinton Twp.) have remained Democrat considering those cities are the destination spots for those fleeing from Detroit.........

And when McCain wins,, the groundwork for riots and lawsuits will be laid because,, hey,, Obama had to win, he was ahead in the polls!

That’s 50% and Arlington is at 71%. Very strange.

I need to clarify that 71% of those eligible is normal, 71% of TOTAL population is not.

I understand that in Ohio they are moving in homeless to register using the YMCA as an address and probably registering in more than one county using different YMCAs. Obama voted against States being able to purge their voting rolls of dead wood. Wonder why?

I heard our country recorder interviewed on radio today, and she said something about having application problems "with a certain group" or something like that. I can't blame her for not naming names since she is supposed to be neutral about voting. I think she's a Dem, but she has a good reputation as far as I know.
I also know ACORN is active here.

We have to show ID here in AZ right?
To: Irish Eyes
That's the way it's supposed to work. From looking at the AZ E-Z Voter Registration process, it looks like it depends on the driver's licence being legitimate.

You missed convicted felons, which, of course, would make the figures even more ridiculous.
