Welcome To Camp Obama

Election '08: Voters coast-to-coast are receiving e-mails from the Obama campaign encouraging them to sign up to learn pre-election agitation tactics at "Camp Obama." Red kerchiefs, anyone?

When readers first alerted us to the camps, we thought it might be another hoax that migrated into inboxes. But it's for real.

The unsolicited pitch goes like this: "Camp Obama attendees will receive real world organizing experience that will have a direct impact on this election. Graduates of Camp Obama will go on to become Deputy Field Organizers who will lead this campaign to victory in crucial battleground states around the country."

The letter continues, "By participating in Camp Obama you'll get the kind of experience that Barack got as a community organizer on the South Side of Chicago, where he learned that real change happens from the bottom up."

While the letter neglects to identify the source of that "experience," a slide on a camp blog linked to the Obama Web site offers a clue. Underneath a "Welcome to Camp Obama" banner, a trainer at Obama headquarters in Chicago is seen speaking next to a wipe board with the words "Saul Alinsky" scrawled across it.

Alinsky is the late Chicago socialist and street agitator who is considered the father of community organizing.

This is like the movie Groundhog Day. Every morning I wake up and it is the 60’s with the same radicals trying to destroy the country.

> real change happens from the bottom up

Gramsci, Mussolini, Hitler and Mao all understood this and practiced it with great vigor and even greater effect.

However, this sort of activism seems to burn itself out after a generation.

The agitators from the 60s have lived long enough to see the cycle repeat.

Even if Obama wins, unless he is the Anti-Christ, people will tire of him in a few years. He might get two terms out of it, like Bill.

Interestingly, neither Bill nor Obama could succeed without faking Right, even though they are hard Left.

If John McCain hopes to win, he'll have to act as ruthlessly as Obama's campers.

He can start by exposing for voters the socialist underpinnings of community organizing.

McCain won't even point out the truth about the Socialism Bill that he just voted for.

Face it, he does not want to be President. He is satisfied just being the Republican nominee.

pre-election agitation tactics at “Camp Obama

Like the tactics he used early in his career when he was hired to train ACORN personel to harass local bank managers and thier families into giving low income families loans they could never pay back.
Adolf would be proud of this man!

Remember that Presidential Seal flap. It looks like Oboma should spend 6 months in the pokey.

Yeah. So what are we going to do about it? Talk and talk and babble and babble while this subversive piece of crap changes this country forever?

These message boards are an opiate to keep people from real action.

We need to set up loosely linked affinity groups poised for real action and quick.

This is so fascistic. Go to the camp named after the Great Leader, you will be awarded with badges (medals) as you become a Deputy Field Organizer (Field Marshal) and go forth to fight the battle to "organize" your community...

If things don't go well, next year Camp Obama will be revamped a little - graduates will be given guns as they become officers in Obama's secret police.

I’m posting this everywhere possible:

I hope all of you will go to this site and see what the Catholics have done to encourage their 67 million people on election day. They don’t tell them how to vote but they sure do get their message across. I believe this is an inspiring message for this coming election, so I am sending it out to everyone I know.

A generation or even half that is a long time to live under such tyranny. The Italians finally got tired of Mussolini but he cost that country dearly. A lot of Germans, especially German Jews, knew that Hitler was such a joke and the Nazi cult of death would never catch on. Stalin's personality cult was so strong that it still exists among the ignorant. China's Cultural Revolution destroyed much of that vast, ancient country in only ten years. So any mass movement centered on an authoritarian leader is cause for alarm.

Terrifying and SO SCARY AND TRUE!!!

Just remember Obama is the one who as a sitting U.S. Senator went to Kenya, taking $ 1 Million dollars with him to contribute to his Cousin’s Presidential Campaign and to openly and Illegally campaign in another Country’s (KENYA) Presidential Elections! Remember that his Cousin, Oridinga, openly burned down Christian Churchs, some of which the Congregants were burned to death in those Churchs, and NOT a word of apology or contretion from Obama HUSSEIN and NOT a word of Damnation from Our Stinking Mass Media, hereafter addressed as The Obama HUSSEIN PROPAGANDA MACHINE!

This is a snippet from the same website under the series "The Audacity Of Socialism", "How Obama Applies Alinsky's Rules". I find it remarkably disturbing:

Obama doesn't look or talk like an angry radical. He speaks in measured tones and is rarely seen out of business attire. That, too, is borrowed from Alinsky's playbook. "Don't scare" the middle class, he guides urban revolutionaries in his 1970s manual, "Rules for Radicals" (which he dedicated to mankind's "first radical, Lucifer").

From http://www.americanpatrol.com/REFERENCE/Alinsky-SaulRef.html

Rules for Radicals opens with a quote about Lucifer, written by Saul Alinsky: "Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins -- or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom -- Lucifer."
