Not that it matters (much), but those details are incorrect.
"All that pork" was in a House bill, H.R.6049, that was passed in the Senate on a 93-2 margin on September 23, 2008. The two NAY votes were Democrats. The House was going to kill it by ignoring it. But keep in mind, 93 Senators approved "all that pork," now, twice! Once in H.R.6049, and again, attached to H.R.1424.
H.R.1424 is the bill that was used as a vehicle for the bailout language. The original contents of H.R.1424 were tossed out, and the bailout plus H.R.6049 were substituted in its place.
All of that is perfectly and unambiguously clear from the record, links to the bills above so you can prove it to yourself and your friends ;-)

Has Rush ever explored the Cloward-Piven strategy. Here’s a link to one site that links to an incredible number of further sites. It names names and groups that are decidedly not in our best interests. It’s worth taking a look at and passing it on to friends. Better yet, try to get it to your congress critters. It’s a wake-up call.
