Can a Catholic vote for Obama?

-SNIP-Those who accuse presidential aspirant Sen. Barack Obama of empty rhetoric must have missed his speech last July, recently made public, to the benefactors of the Planned Parenthood Action Fund. At that festive event, he was as sharp and specific as a scalpel.

"The first thing I'd do as president," he told a cheering audience, "is sign the Freedom of Choice Act. That's the first thing that I'd do."

The audience cheered enthusiastically. And well they might. As NARAL enthuses on its website, this act would "codify Roe v. Wade's protections and guarantee the right to choose for future generations of women."

In short, if we are to take Obama at his word, his first priority as president would be to serve an early death sentence on millions of unborn Americans. -SNIP-

If you have Catholic friends who are going to vote for Obama, let them know that it would be considered a mortal sin......

Cardinal Ratzinger (now the Pope) wrote in his letter to Cardinal McCarrick back in 2004:

“A Catholic would be guilty of formal cooperation in evil, and so unworthy to present himself for Holy Communion, if he were to deliberately vote for a candidate precisely because of the candidate’s permissive stand on abortion and/or euthanasia. When a Catholic does not share a candidate’s stand in favor of abortion and/or euthanasia, but votes for that candidate for other reasons, it is considered remote material cooperation, which can be permitted in the presence of proportionate reasons.”

Enough! All Catholics need to shut Obama down or simply renounce their faith. He is actively advocating Abortion and would sign legislation to that effect. He meets the litmus test of active support and influence.

If there is a video of this...I know some Obama supporting evangelicals that would only believe he said this with proof.

“Can a Catholic vote for Obama?”

Not if they follow the teachings of the Bible...

Not in good faith. Unfortunately, there are many who call themselves Catholics that act in bad faith as a matter of lifestyle.

Yet sadly, after all the messages from bishops and the preaching against abortion from our pulpit, I still see Obama bumper stickers in our church parking lot on Sunday!

There's not a single Obama sticker in our church's lot--and we have a MASSIVE parish.

Here’s the “logic” that I’ve encountered:

GIVEN: I support 0bama.

Given: I don’t support infanticide nor would I support a candidate that supports infanticide.

Conclusion: 0bama doesn’t support infanticide.

Ugh.

I fail to see how anyone with a lick of sense could even consider voting for The Obamorrhoid.

Then again, I recall that in the Presidential election 8 years ago a majority of those who could be troubled to vote, voted for a Communist.

I am not filled with confidence.

Well, Liberation Theology sprang from the Catholic Church.

And so did every other heresy, so what is your point?

Can a Catholic vote for Obama? The question should be; Can an American vote for Obama. Can Obama even get a security clearance with friends like William Ayers and some others who are just as anti-American. Take a good look at who was defending the abuse of Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac....real life Fat Cats who will make up the Obama cabinet should he win. Take a look at the powerful Black Caucus and their involvement with FM & FM and Obama. The MSM is NOT letting this stuff out, they are determining the American vote again.

DON'T LET THEM! Get the word out...Obama is just one more politician with dirty hands.
