Sarahcuda is going to knock it out of the park Thursday night, winning the debate by over 60% of the vote. My guess? 67% of those polled will say that she's the winner. She will ooze charisma, poise, wisdom, intelligence, wit, confidence, and strength. She will connect with voters. McCain/Palin will get a 4-5 point bounce of of this debate.
Meanwhile, the House Republicans will put forth their plan on Thursday as well, which will resonate with American people, passing a bill soon afterwards.
Then, over the next 4 weeks, McCain/Palin will pound on Barack Obama, putting him on defense, and Americans will head towards the "safe" bet - experience + reform, which is in McCain/Palin vs. the "unknown" which is Obama.
Factor in the Bradley effect, and you have McCain winning by 54% of the vote.
I’m concerned they’ll try to turn her into a McCain clone while she’s at his lair in AZ.
If she hesitates, the MSM will say she is hesitant and unsure...even disengaged. Whatever she does will be “wrong”.
that is really scary!!!
You need to get attention to this locally.
Try your local republican office and see if there is a way to shut this fraud down.
You might have the key to stopping thousands of illegal votes. If it stays here on Free Republic, nothing will happen.
Unless McCain takes ownership of the bailout issue and gets behind the House Pubbies to craft a conservative response to this crisis he’s gonna get dusted by that Marxist regeneration of “Wile E. Coyote, Super Genius.” Period call in the dogs; the hunt is over. Without swift action, it will not matter what the lovely and gracious Sarah Palin accomplishes at the debate. BTW, you don’t make up ground by castigating your allies in Congress. A “plague on both your houses” is a pathetic response. Palin helped galvanize the base, and McCain is willing to throw it all away. It’s like a bad dream.
Your keyboard to God’s ears .. you’ve got the spirit !!!
I am so sick of the doom and gloom around here, was refreshing to read your post. Thanks.
I'M VOTING FOR PALIN
and that guy she's running with
I didn't go 15 minutes all night without somebody giving me a thumbs up or a dirty look, and probably 30 people actually asked me where I got my shirt. The Republican booth (Palin standup, not one pic of McCain) was selling McCain Palin stickers for a dollar and everyone was wearing them. The Obama booth couldn't give theirs away. It was great fun, and while entirely anecdotal, still makes me very hopeful :) I'm praying McCain wins by a considerable margin. Otherwise, all we'll hear for the next four years is the only reason Obama lost is because we're all racists.
Maybe have a partner to video tape you, if they pull any BS, you got em dead bang on tape.
I’ll take these comments as tongue in cheek sarcasm... over 60%. yeah, right.
I just want to see her hold her own...
I’ll be voting for the ticket no matter what, but I do have my worries.
Oooo, cool post. Man you be funny.
Bears repeating I guess... :)
Palin helped galvanize the base, and McCain is willing to throw it all away. It's like a bad dream.
Without going into the election, as I know Americans quite rightly like to fight their own battles internally, I could comment on personality.
I have observed various leaders over the years- including Winston Churchill (dates me). I have seen a flaw which is a sort of liberalistic ideal. That of reaching out and holding hands with the opposition. Rush Limbaugh has emphasised that you do not try to make those you have defeated like you.
Canadian politics shows the utter contempt for the media for those who play Mr Nice guy. Respect for hard nosed in your face leaders. Prime Minister Chretien half choked some poor devil, who got in his face. The poor man was unemployed. No charges, not much if any bad press.
Please excuse this homily!
What I do say is that the personality of John McCain is such, that he is trying to be Mr Nice guy. His enemies are circling the waters. I say this, because I was astounded when he threw Billy Cunningham under the bus. I know this hit Billy hard. This on the use of the name Hossain.
My prayers for November.
They haven’t showed up today. I guess they moved on. I could kick my own behind for not thinking about the video camera at the time.
Keep your eyes open, tell your friends.
They will turn up again no doubt.
Plus just letting the republican office know may give them a good tip to think about having more observers and oversight on election day.
