Sarahcuda is going to knock it out of the park Thursday night, winning the debate by over 60% of the vote. My guess? 67% of those polled will say that she's the winner. She will ooze charisma, poise, wisdom, intelligence, wit, confidence, and strength. She will connect with voters. McCain/Palin will get a 4-5 point bounce of of this debate.
Meanwhile, the House Republicans will put forth their plan on Thursday as well, which will resonate with American people, passing a bill soon afterwards.
Then, over the next 4 weeks, McCain/Palin will pound on Barack Obama, putting him on defense, and Americans will head towards the "safe" bet - experience + reform, which is in McCain/Palin vs. the "unknown" which is Obama.
Factor in the Bradley effect, and you have McCain winning by 54% of the vote.
For me the debate is anti climatic, what has my motor running is Gov Palin will start appearing on much more Conservative Friendly venues like Rush’s show...man that will rock!
Right now the media is trying to knock the heart out of Conservatives and Values Voters, do not let them!
Biden could show up drunk and incoherent, a hooker on each arm, and a Fannie Mae exec stuffing hundred dollar bills in his pockets, and the MSM will still claim that he won the debate....
Now you're cookin. To hell with all this whiny assed limp wristed crap. Mc/Palin are going to kick this upstarts booty. Jeeazus, some of the garbage I read today sounds like it came from the colon of DU.
Welcome to FR Newbie.
The rule is if you’re going to post a vanity, you have to post a picture of yourself in a swimsuit.
At least your vanity was optimistic! I’m the President of the Optimist club this election so I won’t scold your vanity like some others. ; )
What will this day be like? I wonder.
What will my future be? I wonder.
It could be so exciting to be out in the world, to be free
My heart should be wildly rejoicing
Oh, what’s the matter with me?
I’ve always longed for adventure
To do the things I’ve never dared
And here I’m facing adventure
Then why am I so scared
A captain with seven children
What’s so fearsome about that?
Oh, I must stop these doubts, all these worries
If I don’t I just know I’ll turn back
I must dream of the things I am seeking
I am seeking the courage I lack
The courage to serve them with reliance
Face my mistakes without defiance
Show them I’m worthy
And while I show them
I’ll show me
So, let them bring on all their problems
I’ll do better than my best
I have confidence they’ll put me to the test
But I’ll make them see I have confidence in me
Somehow I will impress them
I will be firm but kind
And all those children (Heaven bless them!)
They will look up to me
And mind me with each step I am more certain
Everything will turn out fine
I have confidence the world can all be mine
They’ll have to agree I have confidence in me
I have confidence in sunshine
I have confidence in rain
I have confidence that spring will come again
Besides which you see I have confidence in me
Strength doesn’t lie in numbers
Strength doesn’t lie in wealth
Strength lies in nights of peaceful slumbers
When you wake up — Wake Up!
It tells me all I trust I lead my heart to
All I trust becomes my own
I have confidence in confidence alone
(Oh help!)
I have confidence in confidence alone
Besides which you see I have confidence in me!
haha good point.... but the unfortunate thing is that there are too many people out there stupid enough to just follow it
You have to know that if the MSM were able to show nobama way out front by an unbeatable margin, they would. The ONE not being able to open the gap has all the Libs nervous as a cat in a room full of rocking chairs.
I will love to see the Bradley flip these idiots.
Course then we’ll have to figure out how to stand McCain “trying to be bi-partican”.
Any chance the holy spirit can help with all these vanity threads?
That's pure ignorant, kook talk.
good for you!
Sorry, but not a chance in the world. Even if she wins, which is fairly likely, 90% of decided voters will claim their candidate won, just to be loyal. 90% of undecideds will not be able to make up their minds of the debate any more than they can make up their minds on whether there is a difference between 0bama and McCain. A little swing in each poll is all we'll get in the official news reports, but that will tell us how she did for real.
She will ooze charisma, poise, wisdom, intelligence, wit, confidence, and strength. She will connect with voters. McCain/Palin will get a 4-5 point bounce of of this debate.
I believe you're about right, and I will pray for that outcome.
You are delusional, but it is undoubtedly a fine madness that we all would like to share.
We don’t need Palin to “win” the debate although that we be great (and we certainly don’t need her to lose it). What we need is, as Newt aptly pointed out on Greta, Senator McCain articulating his vision of the economy and where he wants to take us.
Don’t hate me, ladies and gentlemen, but I’d be less worried if Hillary was running. I’d still vote for McCain/Palin, but Obama just seems like a complete fool. But don’t kid yourself, this country would survive Obama. But can Hillary face a President Obama.
I think this is the first positive vanity I’ve seen today. It’s about time!! Thanks and God Bless!!
Sarah is going to take her message of reform and conservative principles straight to the people. The media won’t be able to help themselves. They’ll be falling all over her.
This is the second “re” introduction of Governor Palin to the public. McCain won’t make the same mistake he did last time, which was shield Palin and morph her into someone she’s not. He’ll unleash the Pit Bull. The gloves will be off.
