>>>Members of Congress worked tirelessly over the weekend to rid Wall Street of its toxic assets,
Yeah! Those toxic assets are mortgages obtained by vermin like ACORN for its members...
The “bailout” should not include re-doing MORE mortgages that more people cannot afford to pay...

Does anyone know if there are data available that show the details of what loans/mortgages were defaulted on (i.e. were these loans concentrated in certain regions of the country?; urban vs. other?; average amount of loan/mortgage vs. income?; how much money down to secure the loan, if any?; historical rate of default for loans given to borrowers with those criteria?)? I would like to see that information get disseminated to the public. The spin is that this is all the fault of ‘the rich’ on Wall Street etc. While the CEOs/fund managers/bank officers etc. certainly deserve their fair share of the blame, it appears that a big part of this is the consequence of liberal social engineering.

ACORN members plan to hold Secretary Paulson accountablePaulson is only there for 3 more months. I guess if Obama wins, then ACORN will drop its plans.

Just saw some GOP congressman on FOX, well heard him from the other room, ACORN is already guaranteed tax payer funding. If the second Amendment isn't used now, it never will be.

At the ACORN site there seems to be no mention of Obama or Annenberg. An oversight, I expect.
