ACORN plans to hold Secretary Paulson "accountable", ensure "streamlined loan modifications"

Wall Street Bailout Largely Leaves Out Main Street Foreclosures

September 28, 2008

On Sunday, Sept. 28, ACORN National President Maude Hurd released the following statement after Congressional leaders announced a $700 bailout plan for Wall Street:

“Members of Congress worked tirelessly over the weekend to rid Wall Street of its toxic assets, which are responsible for the worst financial crisis since the 1930s. Unfortunately, families who fell victim to Wall's Street's toxic lending practices and now risk losing their homes were largely left out.

ACORN members are extremely disappointed that the bailout package does little to assist these homeowners, such as providing them relief through the bankruptcy courts. Although weak, there is language in the bailout package authorizing Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson to facilitate more loan modifications. ACORN members plan to hold Secretary Paulson accountable and ensure he uses this authority to make streamlined loan modifications a priority for struggling American families.”

Just saw some GOP congressman on FOX, well heard him from the other room, ACORN is already guaranteed tax payer funding. If the second Amendment isn't used now, it never will be.

It is a good thing that demo’s tried to earmark part of the bailout for ACORN. Exposing their past activities and Obama’s huge involvement over many years is one of the few illustrations of Obama’s “experience”. Qualifications to be president have devolved to organization of activists to protest in bank lobbies.
The Dems are the party of shady social giveaways and voter fraud – their candidate a slick socialist rabble rouser in a suit.
The Reps maintain naive principles of God & Country, equal opportunity with equal responsibility – their candidate a fighter for freedom.
What’s wrong with this picture?
Misled masses and the MSM comprise 49% of voters. They are trying to force a social engineering experiment down our throats.

tie ACORN to the obama and it would sway a lot of independants

and the public would finally learn what a Chicago "Community Organizer" = who worked for ACORN for years - really did.

At the ACORN site there seems to be no mention of Obama or Annenberg. An oversight, I expect.
