Those “Independents” sounded as if they had made up their minds long ago.

I wish when bambi brought up schools and not freezing spending on certain “necessities”, McCain would have pointed out that taxpayers have been throwing ever more money at failed godless liberal NEA schools for decades and all we get for our money is further failures!

Maybe Palin will.

You must be a troll. Obama had no specific answers, no substance, and was thoroughly out of his depth.

He was reduced to *agreeing* with Senator McCain a number of times, and his closing couple of points "my father is from Kenya" and "we must improve our reputation in the world, so I'm voting to increase funding for education" were almost Biden-esque in their cluelessness.

And when McCain described the situation in Georgia, together with the implications for fuel as soft power towards Western Europe, and the implicit warning shot across the bow of the Ukraine and the other former Soviet republics...Obama didn't even know enough to realize he had been PWNED. It was like a dog trying to understand quantum mechanics.

Two other points -- the "I have a bracelet, too, ...from ..err, umm... (gives name)... (raises himself to full height) in Green Bay!" I'm just amazed he kept from saying that it was given to him by quarterback Britt Farr at Lambert Field.

And McCain literally snickering over the Kissinger matter (the audience laughed too, but the broadcast tried to diminish the audience sounds).

Obambi was PWNED. He lost a unanimous decision on points, hving only won 1 or 2 rounds (at the beginning) out of 15.

Cheers!

I am watching the re-run of the debate and I have noticed something - BO keeps raising his had like a kid in school when he wants to talk. Maybe he felt like he was in school with the head master himself.

Also, When McCain is talking about sitting at the table with Ahmanutjob at first BO agrees and says “yes” agreeing with us telling Iran that they are not going to blow Israel off the map. After McCain says “Oh, please.” BO starts saying no and disagreeing. He knew he was being beaten and was totally lost there.

Also, I watched a lot of the post debate coverage on Fox. Here is what struck me a purely Presidential. After the debate, John McCain flew back to Washington so that he could work tomorrow. BO’s people said that he had returned to the hotel to sleep then tomorrow he is campaigning in NC, Fredericksburg, VA, and Washington in the evening. So much for being a Senator.

The word “mean” is exactly the talking points the two dunces on MSNBC used right after the debate.
I think the Luntz independents are like the Dem operative couple from Virginia on the Todays Show that claimed they were independent, but have decided to vote for Obama.
Same with the one focus group a newspaper sponsored with a college professor and a member from Code Pink, and they were called “independents” too.

Yes, McCain won the ENTIRE debate. Obama came off amateurish and with a specific strategy to throw McCain off.

Obama needs to realize that McCain is a tested leader who came face to face with evil, FOR 5 YEARS !!!

Like Axelrod and his gang of fools in Chicago can get away with the same amateurish sleazy bullying with the likes of POW John McCain.

AND YES, OBAMA'S TROLLS CONTINUE TO FOLLOW THIS THREAD...

Hey.

Please forgive duplication with my other recent posts on other threads, but I want to bring these 3 points together in one post with some links. Obama's electoral prospects are finished if/when people understand what a hash he has made of these 3 issues. Here are THREE critical foreign policy & security issues on which I believe Obama has made himself (and potentially our nation) extremely vulnerable. We need to get word out everywhere that he has bungled these 3 issues:

(1) MISSILE DEFENSE: Obama lied (or flip-flopped without admitting it) on his position re missile defense. Tonight he claimed he supports it, when he is on video giving a left-wing rant calling for termination of funding for "unproven" missile defense:

Obama pledges to terminate funding for "unproven" missile defense and to slash other vital defense programs such as the "Future Combat Systems" program and space systems and nuclear weapons and.......

(2) RUSSIA-GEORGIA CONFLICT: Mis-Represents his own position on Russia-Georgia as it "evolved".... he did NOT take the position on Russia-Georgia on the FIRST day of the conflict that he eventually took by day 3.

(3) PRESIDENTIAL SUMMIT WITH IRANIAN LEADERS, NO PRE-CONDITIONS: Obama mis-represents Henry Kissinger's position on Iran in order to pretend that Kissing agrees with the Obamanation. If a Republican candidate in a Presidential debate had just grossly mis-represented the position of the most famous living diplomat on an issue of such vital importance, in order to claim non-existent support for his own position (which position itself is in the midst of major flip-flops), the media would flay that candidate alive and the election is over. It is a measure of the depth and breadth of media bias that this will not even be a blip on the screen, or if they do feel any need to address it they will do so as apologists for the Obamanation.

BREAKING: KISSINGER REPUDIATES OBAMA'S MIS-CHARACTERIZATION OF HIS VIEWS ON IRAN AND DIPLOMACY!!!!! OBAMA HAS STEPPED IN IT BIG TIME

"Henry Kissinger believes Barack Obama misstated his views on diplomacy with US adversaries and is not happy about being mischaracterized. He says: "Senator McCain is right. I would not recommend the next President of the United States engage in talks with Iran at the Presidential level. My views on this issue are entirely compatible with the views of my friend Senator John McCain. We do not agree on everything, but we do agree that any negotiations with Iran must be geared to reality.""

(3a) PRESIDENTIAL SUMMIT MEETINGS: re: follow-up to (3) above, not only is Obama mis-representing Kissinger's position, but he is LYING (or flip-flopping without ackknowledgement) about his own pledge to hold direct meetings with leaders of Iran, Syria, Venezuela, etc..... (now says he does expect "preparations" etc. - trying to backpeddle on what he actually did say in Democrat debate in July 2007).

Obambi Said YES that HE as President would meet with "leaders of Syria, Iran, Venezuela...." during his first year in office ... no preconditions

Here's the beginning of the blowout if only the MSM could be forced to report it - Obama is LYING about his previous position on meeting with leaders of Iran, etc.:

"Asked if the candidates would be willing to meet “with leaders of Syria, Iran, Venezuela" during their first year in office, Obama immediately said yes and added, “the notion that somehow not talking to countries is punishment to them — which has been the guiding diplomatic principle of this administration — is ridiculous.” These are 3 different vitally important foreign policy issues on which Obambi stumbled, crumbled, fumbled, and/or LIED about his past positions/stands.

This election would be OVER if we actually had a professional, unbiased, competent media.

More on original context for Obama's position on Presidential direct negotiations with the world's worst regimes:

Obama on Meeting With leaders of Iran, Syria, Venezuela, etc.

"The question was a simple one but it elicited one of the few differences between Sens. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama so far in the race for the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination: "Would you be willing to meet separately during the first year of your administration, with leaders of Syria, Iran, Venezuela and others to bridge the gap between our countries?"

"Obama said he would be willing to have such meetings." "The notion that somehow not talking to countries is punishment to them — which has been the guiding diplomatic principle of this administration — is ridiculous," explained Obama."

"I am watching the re-run of the debate and I have noticed something - BO keeps raising his had like a kid in school when he wants to talk. Maybe he felt like he was in school with the head master himself."

I noticed it too (mentioned it a few posts up)

I rewatched the first 30 minutes with sound off and noticed Obama was thrown bit on his delivery because McCain never looks at Obama when Obama is talking.

It seems to bother Obama and he looks around for a receptive listener.

It seems to annoy him as indicated by his frowns when he starts looking around.

I didn't notice this till I turned the sound off.

That’s a violation I would say right away. If you declare independent do you get to vote in the primary if there is no independent candidate?

Just remember: in 2008...

Independents on Political Shows = Obama Plants in Liberal Media

Interesting how they're all going to vote for Obama. heh heh And it's gonna get worse - we just need to expose the Obama plants.

Very well stated.

Let's see if Rush, Hannity, Ingraham, Levin, et al (who all seem to surf FR for some of their topic selection) will make note of it.

Cheers!

“I think McCain did some real damage on Afghanistan, but could have hit it harder.”

I agree. McCain’s line about if Obama was so concerned about Afghanistan he could’ve at least visited was damning.

“Greta’s hubby is a big Hil supporter and he’s for McCain.”

Thanks for the enlightenment on that. ‘Cause I’ve often been concerned about where she’s coming from lately - glad that it’s not for BHO, then.

Obama doesn’t understand IRAQ. I discussed this with my friends 6 years ago and the “Strategy” was understood. Remove the safe haven, they will attack back and be removed.
