Sen. Joe Biden hit Western Pennsylvania today -- Greensburg specifically -- with his first visit to the area since the Democratic National Convention.
Before he began his morning speech, Biden had to compose himself while recalling a gift of two footballs (signed by former Steeler Rocky Bleier) given by late Steelers founder Art Rooney to Biden's two boys in 1972, when they were recuperating from a traffic accident that killed his wife and daughter.
Biden recalled the story after he was introduced by Rooney's son, Dan.

Would The Steelers owner have even known of a first term Senator from Delaware, recently sworn in? And I don’t think Rocky Bleier was a household name in 1972.
Eh, it’s Biden.

I asked my Eagles if they could send Joe a picture of Roethlisberger taken during our game this past Sunday. (It had to be taken by the blimp because we sacked him 9 times.)

The waterworks worked for Hillary in NH during the campaign. Joe should go to all the swing states and begin crying.

If it was Palin being over “sensitive” they’d be all over the news that night calling her “hormonal”
The polling question would then be...Can a woman be Pres during PMS?

I hate when politicians pander to sports fans. And why do they always have to do it towards Steeler fans, of which you should all be if you are not already?

Sarah Palin became emotional today as well - while visiting Ground Zero in New York.

And when is the mainstream media going to call him on this outrageous and offensive lie? When you produce conclusive and definitive proof for them that hell has frozen over.
Personally, I'd like to see the family of the driver go to court and file a lawsuit requesting that Plugs cease and desist from insinuating or claiming that the driver was under the influence.

Biden told a lie about his wife being killed? Man, what a shameless liar that guy is! How can he honestly expect people not to find out he is lying about something like that?

Bleier hadn’t recovered from his Vietnam wound sufficiently to make the active roster until 1972 and wasn’t a starter until the 1974 season.
Biden is amazingly full of it.
