Why They Hate Sarah Palin So Much

19 September 2008

Wow. That’s (almost) all I can say about the massive weeks-long two-minute hate that the Dimocrats, the news media, and the Hollywood freak patrol have been having on Sarah Palin. What’s up with this? I mean, if you’re a Republican in politics, you pretty much have to expect that a certain amount of petty and spiteful invective will be hurled your way. After all, that’s about all that the drools over at Daily Kos or the Huffington Post can manage. The people on the far Left are “intellectual” in the same sense that gibbering baboons are intellectual, which is to say, not at all. Emotionalistic pap, lies, and blubbering spittle-flecked harpy-screeches are par for the course with the MoveOn.org/Kostard/Obama wing of the Dimocrat Party. So yes, it makes sense that Ronald Reagan would be called “dumb” by the people around whom he consistently ran circles. Dan Quayle had every right to expect that the media would be there to pull some out-of-context quote and turn it into his next “gaffe”. Dubya probably knew all along that they’d make those Bush=monkey pictures about him….after all, who knows better what a monkey looks like than gibbering baboons?

The hatred for Sarah Palin is above and beyond the call of duty, however.

There have been a lot of explanations thrown around for this. She’s “real” (which she is) and exposes the phoniness of the scripted, made-for-TV Obama. She didn’t abort her baby even when not doing so puts herself and her family into an “inconvenience” because of Trig’s Down’s Syndrome, all of which sets an example that directly threatens the baby-killing industry, one of the Dims’ most reliable constituencies. She helped McCain become competitive (or more!) in this election again….the stuffy, crusty old white geezer who looked to be going down in flames faster than an American F-4 Phantom shot down by the North Vietnamese Commies whom Obama mentor Bill Ayers loved so much suddenly took the lead in national and battleground state polls, all because of Sarah Palin.

These are most likely contributory, but they don’t explain this depth of hatred which has been little seen in politics hithertofore, even back in the days when Aaron Burr would accuse Alexander Hamilton of being a whore’s son or whatnot. Frankly, I think the depth of hatred stems from one thing - her religion.

See, Sarah Palin represents the ascendency of the Big Boogeyman of the American Left - the “radical religious right”. Most politicians will give lip-service to their supposed Christianity - even Barack Hussein Soetero Obama or whatever has had to do so, even though anybody with a pulse knows he’s about as “Christian” as a jug-eared scarecrow. That’s because most everybody expects their politicians to at least give a nod to the state religion of Americanism - you know, the flag-waving, “God bless America”, God-but-no-Jesus ecumenism that has perfused our political system in one form or another since the end of the Civil War. Everybody expects a little God-talk from the candidates, even though the expectation (or hope, for those on the Left) is that they don’t really mean it.

Most of our major presidential candidates for the past century have been of one particular brand of Christianity - mainline, high-church style Protestantism. There’ve been a few Catholics, one successful (Kennedy), most not (Al Smith, Kerry, etc.). There’s even been a Southern Baptist (Carter) who is far from being in line with his denomination (assuming he’s still even IN that denomination). Mostly, we’ve had candidates who are mainline but not church-going, they can quote a few Bible verses, but Sunday would probably find them on the golf course. Ronald Reagan rarely went to services that were not official state functions of some kind. Even the supposedly “evangelical” Dubya goes to a mainline Methodist church and speaks in the soft tones of sweet nothingness which typically characterise public pronouncements of religion in DC. Despite their proportion in the population, and the supposed influence they wield in society, Evangelical Christians have been noticeably underrepresented in actual political office at the national level.

Palin runs counter to this, however. She’s not mainline. She comes from a denomination which is notable for being both very conservative and very fervent. She was converted in an Assembly of God church, grew up Charismatic, and now attends the Wasilla Bible Church, which seems to be a fairly standard conservative evangelical church. And this scares the bejeebers out of the secular fundamentalist Left. She comes across as actually meaning what she says she believes, as her choice to bear a baby with Down’s Syndrome (when those on the Left wouldn’t have thought twice about aborting) shows. Even though she is no more vocal about her beliefs than anyone else on the campaign trail has been, the fact that she is real in her beliefs, values, and religious convictions is enough to drive the Left bonkers. You can almost hear the secfundies as they gasp, “My Darwin! She actually lets her religion influence her choices? What a recrudescer of religion!”

As this website is all about re-asserting the role of religion in our society, I couldn’t be happier to see her on the ticket.

It’s not just that Sarah Palin is evangelical in faith and is likely to attain to high office. The very fact that she is where she is - that she is breaking the “velvet wall” which mainline religion has de facto placed against evangelicalism since the time of William Jennings Bryan - is a sign that our society, messed up as it may be in so many ways, is starting to head in the right direction at least on this. Kudos to Mrs. Palin, and let’s hope she keeps going pitbull on the media and the Lefties!

Here’s why they hate her so much:

John 3:19-21

19This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.”[a]

John 15:18-25

The World Hates the Disciples
18”If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 19If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. 20Remember the words I spoke to you: ‘No servant is greater than his master.’[a] If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. 21They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the One who sent me. 22If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. Now, however, they have no excuse for their sin. 23He who hates me hates my Father as well. 24If I had not done among them what no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. But now they have seen these miracles, and yet they have hated both me and my Father. 25But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: ‘They hated me without reason.’[b]

2 Corinthians 2:14-18

14But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him. 15For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. 16To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life. And who is equal to such a task? 17Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, like men sent from God.

They hate us. She’s the embodiment of mainstream America.

Their reaction to her is their reaction to us.

Now we know what they truly think of us and how they’d treat us if they really got the upper hand.

Oh, you only think that way because you are bitterly clinging to your guns and your religion. ;)

Why do they hate her?

Supreme jealousy (deep down they KNOW that Sarah Palin has done it all the morally sound way).

She didn’t abort her 5 children, especially the ‘defective fetus’—plus she’s a working mother who still plays an active rollin her childrens’ upbringing. I honestly believe it all comes back to abortion, and the terrible fear the liberals have of Roe v. Wade being overturned! That’s why they hate her so much, and why they think she’s ‘wrong’ on womens’ issues.

WTG, Sarah!! Scare those libbies!! :-)

This is an easy question. The Dims are viscous people who will stop an NOTHING to get and maintain power. They will lose wars, destroy or hurt individuals, ANYTHING to get what they want. POWER. Thats their goal and they never lose sight of it.

These people hate God. Absolutely HATE. So of course they hate any of God’s people. They see her as a challenge to their way of life. What really scares them is that she is youngish and beautiful. They like to paint Christians as fat, dried-up old people in tacky clothes.

One thing about which I’ve been granted the wisdom to see -

the abortion issue isn’t about keeping future abortions legal.

It’s about keeping decisions already made from being perceived as wrong.

They hate her because they would prefer to believe there is no God, therefore, no accountability for how one lives ones life.

You are quite correct. If certain Christians weren’t quite sure how their secular countrymen felt about them, Sarah Palin has opened a lot of eyes.

You’re correct. And to add to it,

everyone knows, due to the “wiring” of their Creation,

that they are indeed guilty of sin.

But, instead of repentence, the secular left chooses to reject the idea that they ARE guilty. This causes a conflict with your “wiring” and causes derangement.

McCain should tell Barack to go ahead to Mississippi for the debate, he'll get there if he can get free early enough, .........

......but if he can't, not to worry, Sarah will be there to take over for him!
