'LIVE YOUR life in such a way that when your feet hit the floor in the morning, Satan shudders and says, 'Oh, s - - -! She's awake."
This is anonymous, like most of the delicious things that come across my desk. Here's another one on the current political fracas. "Jesus was a community organizer, but Pilate was the governor."
Oh, come on. I am beginning to think this kind of sniping just feeds supporters of the McCain-Palin ticket, or the Palin-McCain ticket as Sarah Palin calls it. Also, if the snipe is against Obama, then it fuels his supporters.
Yesterday's The American Conservative magazine carries a marvelously interesting Steve Sailer article titled "Maternal Flame." It's all about Gov. Palin's family-friendly appeal and how she is a symbolic champion, "half Alaskan Amazon, half Venus of Willendorf." He says Palin has "the fecundity of the frontier" on her side and this appeals to thousands. There are those who say every time someone in the Eastern elite establishment knocks Gov. Palin, to thousands of Americans, it's as if the Obama-ites are knocking them!

As if?
AS IF??!
I thought the myth of the media’s impartiality was dispelled LONG AGO.
Anybody who can’t see that the media is completely in the tank for Obama is not paying attention, AT ALL.
Liz Smith is a woman who makes her living by living thru celebrities’ lives. Very sad.
Good Lord, I didn’t know old bat Liz Smith was still “writing”.
How refreshing to know that she is still drawing breath.
Ugh.

Not sad at all. Smith and others like her have used whatever skills the possess to make themselves very comfortable. They know that there is a market in America for 'gossip' about 'celebrities' and they get paid well for meeting the needs of that market....very American.
Dawn breaks on Marblehead!
(An old Massachusetts saying)
Jimmah Cotter was the governor, too.
Did I miss a speech? Just curious.

Are there those who don't say that? Just curious.
Darth Obama shutters as millions of votes are ripped away from the liberal dark side and come over to the force of light and goodness that is Sarah Palin.
“Jesus was a community organizer, but Pilate was the governor.” Pilate was procurator, not governor; you can’t expect accurate history from those who do not study the subject.
Yeah, my favorite story in the Bible was how Jesus got hundreds of people to register to vote by passing out packs of smokes. (/s) (Thanks, Ann Coulter.)
If you don’t have regular headon collisions with Satan,
check yourself, you may be traveling in the same direction.
“Jesus was a community organizer, but Pilate was the governor.”
Actually, Jesus was a reformer, the Pharisees were community organizers and Pilate handed over Jesus to the community organizers because Christ’s fate was ‘above his pay grade’.

Spot on. Really nails the issue. I hope this gets picked up and spreads.
Yeah, you must have. She slipped up and called it the Palin-McCain ticket once. The MSM had a field day with it.
The Pharisees would have been the community power elite, wouldn't they? Not that any of these comparisons are at all valid.
Rep. Alcee Hastings told an audience of Jewish Democrats Wednesday that they should be wary of Republican VP nominee Sarah Palin because anybody toting guns and stripping moose dont care too much about what they do with Jews and blacks.
Oh my poor Rev Hastings should be told the secret:
There were no can openers in the early days of our nation.
