Last week, CNBC Washington correspondent John Harwood estimated the crisis on Wall Street would benefit Sen. Barack Obama’s bid for the White House but on September 22, he suggested Obama’s race might outweigh that.
“[T]his is a fascinating real-time 3 a.m. phone call for these candidates in the middle of an economic crisis,” Harwood said of turmoil that has led to taxpayer-funded bailouts of major financial institutions. “And one of the wildcards for Barack Obama is how do swing voters react to the prospect of the first African-American president. It’s not what they’re used to. Now, when I talked to Obama yesterday, he acknowledged that race might be a factor in the election, but said he just has to overcome it.”
Obama told Harwood his appearance and his name might factor in voters’ determination of whether or not he can help people achieve the American dream.

Obama is doing the same thing he did in the primary.
Initially, he was running on a campaign that he was above race.
He got behind.
He pulled out the Race Card.
It worked, so he continued to use it.

He got little bounce from his VP pick.
He got little bounce from the Dem Convention.
He seemingly lost ground at the Palin selection.
So, he reverted to the ole Race Card.

Obama doesn’t get it. If people don’t want to vote for a black, that is their right. What are we going to do....tell them that if that is their reason for not voting for Obama we will put them in jail or take their voting rights away?
Yeah, I was in a McDonald's today taking a break from paying for the Obama deadbeats and the Fed Gov financial bailout when I saw Obama on CNN talking about the financial crisis.
I couldn't beleive it when Obama pointed out that someone had fainted in the crowd. He stoped his speech for a minute to call for the EMTS and to admonish everyone that it was hot and they should drink water. That he was hot under the collar because of the bailout...blah...blalh blah...
I thought he stopped the old messiah heal the sick routine a few months back. What an A--hole!
Bull feathers. I would not care if Obama had pink and green stripes and purple polka dots on a white background ..I still would not vote for him. He is a marxist.
