"...One Jamie Gorelick is this American. And without pretending that she caused the loss of countless thousands of lives and countless billions of dollars of wealth by herself, she certainly did push some of the early domino's in catastrophic chain events that are a major factors in life in America today...Gorelick, an appointee of Bill Clinton, is the one who constructed the wall of separation that kept the CIA and the FBI from comparing notes and therefore invading the privacy of nice young men like, say, Muhammed Atta and Zacarius Moussaoui. While countless problems were uncovered in our intelligence operations in the wake of 9-11, no single factor comes close to in importance to Jamie Gorelick's wall...Her fingerprints are all over the Fannie Mae-Freddie Mac mess, which is to say the mess that is central in the entire mortgage-housing crisis. Without so much as one scintilla of real estate or finance experience, she was appointed as Vice Chairman of Fannie Mae in 1997 and served in that role through 2003, which is when most of the systemic cancers that came home to roost today happened. She was instrumental in covering up problems with Fannie Mae while employed there and took multiple millions in bonuses as she helped construct this house of cards...."

Mistress of Disaster: Jamie Gorelick
Don’t forget her key role in the 9/11 commission in covering up the stink of the Clinton Years.
I think she did such a fine job stove piping for Bubba, Raines conscripted her.
I wish these guys would get the story straight.
The “wall of separation” was not between the CIA & FBI.
It’s worse than that!
The “wall” was between the Intel division WITHIN THE FBI and the law enforcement division WITHIN THE FBI!!!!
She didn’t want the FBI to coordinate INTERNALLY!!!!

Mistress of Disaster: Jamie Gorelick
Mastermind of Disaster. Apparently, no conscience either. Sits on the 911 Commission in the middle of it all.
I am envious of the brutal swiftness the communist Chinese deal with their corrupt public officials.
Great montage. You live up to your evocative screen name.
It’s sad how much grief that this biatch was allowed to bring down on the American people. She should be in jail. Allowing her to be involved in the 9-11 investigations was a slap in the face of the American people by the DemocRATS.
That would be "dominoes," or perhaps "dominos." I'm sorry to have to correct this error, coming ironically from a site calling itself American Thinker, and do not mean to diminish the importance of the content. But, at least a minimal standard of literacy needs to be maintained, if not with authors, then certainly with editors. That has obviously not been the case here.
/rant off
She's the one on Russert's right.
We all need to read (or re-read) ‘The Cask of Amontillado’ by Edgar Allan Poe.
Oh, if it were only this EASY to rid ourselves of some of these SCHMUCKS roaming the White House. ;)
How does someone like this sleep at night? I cannot imagine.
Maybe all the problems since 1998 is our own fault. We were so caught up in Clinton getting a “Lewinsky” we missed completely the “Gore Lick”.

“...But it doesn’t stop there. She managed to be on the wrong side of the Duke LaCrosse case, working for Duke University to protect that school from it’s damaging knee jerk reactions to the spectacularly unbelievable charges filed by a stripper. (excuse me, exotic dancer). So, even on a smaller scale, she continues to make money while working to ruin the lives of innocent Americans in defense of liberal dogma. At the Department of Defense, when she served as legal counsel there in 1993, she drafted the “Don’t ask /don’t tell” policy...”
Jamie Gorelick got big bonuses and bailed out of Fannie Mae before its scandals became news. She now works for the law firm which is representing Fannie Mae.

Former Clinton Administation Deputy Attorney General Jaime Gorelick now finds herself embroiled in a developing scandal @ The Federal National Mortgage Association (Fannie Mae) that threatens to boil over in to pre-election legislation that’s sure to cast in a bad light both Clinton Democrats and even some Republican Congressional leaders.

Former Fannie Mae chief James A. Johnson, who holds a top post in the Democratic presidential campaign and headed the Kennedy Center and the Brookings Institution; Smithsonian Institution Secretary Lawrence M. Small, who was Fannie Mae’s chief operating officer; and Washington lawyer Jamie Gorelick, a former Fannie vice chairman, who has served as deputy attorney general, the Pentagon’s top lawyer and a member of the 9-11 commission, joined Raines and Howard in receiving sizable bonuses that year. Regulators allege they were paid after the company improperly deferred other expenses.
Gorelick has told friends that she would seriously consider an offer some day to serve as defense secretary
