Savage is a little hyperbolic; but as one who remembers when about the only government was the post office and the draft -- why not consider the transformation he's laying out? I don't BTW
I agree that Savage does not seem to understand or know the history (as outlined by you for example) of aspects of our macro economics.
His constant attacks on competitors adds nothing to the show. For me he should leave the "inside baseball" stuff off the air.
Besides though Rush concentrates on Democrat shenanigans (Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac) he does acknowledge Wall Street shenanigans also and does not put Party ahead of Country.
