LOL!

I like iced coffee almost as well as hot coffee, and I can drink it year round.

Sadly, yes. I brought one of the larger cameras and haven't taken a single picture yet. (Of course I forgot it when headed to speak at the Palais Eschenbach...)

But if I don't rest I am going to be in a bad way on the airplanes tomorrow...

Meeting is breaking up, so I'm out of here. Maybe back tomorrow evening...

Rest well, and have a good trip!
We’ll be here, waiting for The Move...

Yep, writing a storm...but I’ve been playing hookey from the writing and watching the election campaign....

I have been hanging around here a lot the last two days.

This is a good place to hang out!
I mean, there are so many good people here. Of course, there are some ugly ones, too, but still...

I need to get busy writing, too, but my place is so small, I’m thoroughly depressed. I have three personal histories to type, and I don’t have the energy (physical or mental) to even get started. *sigh*

I envy you.

Crisis! Pat told James that his peanut butter sandwich is decaying, and now James won’t eat. I guess he’ll have to starve.

OHNOOOOOO!!!!

James could always have James eat it. That way, he could get the benefits by osmosis.

Oh, I always thought this was a good place to hang out...why I always snuck back and never went all the way away, even when I got fatigued...

But I started hanging out with a bunch of writers and artists over at LiveJournal, and got kind of distracted.

Typing manuscripts is exhausting. Writing’s a good bit easier!

I discovered, amazingly, I have a knack for romance writing, which is amazing since I almost never read it...I go for SF/action adventure and police procedural for reading...life’s funny that way....

All the histories are already in longhand, and in journal form. But some of the writing is difficult to decipher, so I’ve been appointed (by reason of “being there”) to get it all on the hard drive and then see that it is all printed and distributed to other family members.

Wow. Romance, huh? I avoid those books like the plague. To me, they are predictable. They meet, sparks fly in anger, then in passion and the inevitable happens. (Ho-hum)

I hope yours are much better! (I can’t imagine you could ever write anything that was GREAT!)

I told James that frozen waffles are full of preservatives and will never decay, so he ate some. Pat’s such a twit.

most of’em are on this site:
http://knittingknots.deviantart.com/

Most of’em are technically fan fictions, short and quick reads...

I write mostly about a committed, happily married couple...how different in this day and age...it’s set in a fantasy setting in medieval Japan, but still...it’s a novelty, it seems, to talk about happily married people...

Romance in marriage???
WHOA! Now THERE’s a novel idea! LOL!

That could be a palatable read, come to think of it, since the thing that turns me off about “trashy novels” is the lack of morality. No one ever gets married until after they’ve had blistering sex.

I’d prefer they have blistering sex after it’s legal and moral. :o]

Writing about two people who are deeply committed to living together as husband and wife - ups and downs, happy and sads, both covering each other’s backs...amazing how that’s a radical idea in this day and age...You see why it has to be set in a fantasy setting....

LOL!

Most people don’t even try to make things work. If the going gets tough, they go separate ways. Yah. Fantasy.
