State Representative Mike Kernell, a Memphis Democrat, made a statement to the Tennessean in which he identified his son, David Kernell, as the hacker who broke in to vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palins email address and posted screenshots of the contents on the internet.
Mike Kernell represents District 93, which covers the University of Memphis, and parts of south-east Memphis. He told the Tennessean on Thursday that it was indeed his son David who, using the handle Rubico, posted the original screenshots of Governor Palins e-mail account after using Yahoos password recovery service and a bit of research to find out personal details about Palin and subsequently gain control of her password. The father refused to make any further comment, especially on the whereabouts of his son.
David Kernell, aged 20, is a student at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Using the handle Rubico, he made a post on the 4chan.org forums, in which he alleges that he is the one who is responsible for leaking Governor Palins e-mail inbox details online, and goes on to provide a believable account of how he did it.

I’m the only one with a sticker anywhere in this entire state, and I have the nails sticking out of my sidewalls to prove it! I’m just waiting for the smashed window, should be anytime now.
Brand him with the letters I.T. (Identity Thief) on the foread. Public branding. Hot iron. Then make him take an Economics and a Constitutional Law course—real punishment for a leftist.
What flavor donut would you prefer ... the democrat is a Memphis machine operative, so his son will be protected in Tennessee and prbably never even taken out fo school in K-ville at U.T.
If he is then daddy is guilty of conspiracy after the fact... and since this is a federal crime, he can't depend on his cronies in Tennessee to get him off.
Do you have a link for magnetic stick-ons? Thanks.
I would imagine his family has hidden him in a clinic for “internet addiction” or “psychological issues” - and by doing so, protect him from the police under the cloak of HIPPA laws...
I wonder if they’re crazier than ours whom you saw at the RNC getting arrested. Nothing surprises me anymore here in the land of 10,000 lakes and flakes. Even our Mormons are whacky. I lived with one who took a bumper sticker off my car. It said: Peace through strength. Offensive, ain’t it?
“Since his whereabouts are unknown wouldnt that make him a fugitive. I wonder if he is out of the country.”
On his blog he admits to being institutionalized multiple times in his life, so my guess is that Daddy checked him into some posh “rehab” center and he’ll use the “I have a disease” defense. And of course, expect the family to issue privacy concerns.
Great.
So what?
He can join the long list of Democrats who are guilty of federal crimes yet never need to fear punishment.
"Paging Sandy Berger. Sandy Berger please pick up a white courtesy phone."
I'm slowly coming to accept the simple fact that Democrats are above the law.
There’s a male news anchor in Philly that hacked into a
femal co-anchor e mail account. He was fired and found guilty and is awaiting sentencing Nov.24th.
Don’t be afraid to stand up for what you believe in! I put a McCain/Palin bumper sticker on my Honda S2000, and I live in kookland (SF Bay Area).
This is something to be angry about-and sad about. Here in the US, you don’t want to display your beliefs in someone, in a political candidate(s), a political party, God.
Right now the only reason I don’t have a McCain/Palin sticker on my truck is because the bumper stickers and other campaign material I bought is on back order. :-(
Silly rabbit. Put the McCain poster on the lawn of your local NoBama suppporter. Also put a sticker on the front right bumper. (No one who owns a car looks there)
It's water under the bridge.
Let's put this behind us.
Let's act like it never happened.
“I was thinking of putting a sign on my front yard, but these leftists are really deranged. No point in putting my property and more importantly my family possibly in danger because of these Obama thugs”.
...all 10 homes in my cul de sac have “McCain” signs in the front yard. I arranged for them from my precinct. How do you think McCain/Palin can take the White House if people are too cowardly to display a freakin’ sign?
Amazing times we live in when you can’t even proclaim your politcal stance without being somewhat fearful of your personal property.
Then we have Obamaboy telling his crew to get in people’s faces.
Their meanness will be greatly amplified come November.
staples, office max, etc. all have magnetic tape in varying sizes.
