For the second consecutive day, neither the McCain-Palin campaign nor the Republican National Committee would respond to questions from CNSNews.com about an ambiguous radio ad that says McCain will push for more federal spending on stem-cell research if he is elected president.
The ad, however, does not specify whether that research will be limited to stem-cell research that does not involve the killing of human embryos.
In the Senate, McCain has twice voted to use tax dollars to fund research using stem cells taken from human embryos that are killed in the process.

The MSM is pushing for antiquated answers hoping to trap McCain. He would be wise to defer to a doctor in this field of research.

This is not a 2008 issue, mainly because ESCR has proven to be a fraud, so why are they even running such an ad?
CNS is hardly “Main Stream Media.”
“The ‘suggested’ need for Embryonic Stem Cell research is most likely Null & Void with the discovery that (human skin cells) create cells that are nearly identical to human embryonic stem cells.”
You would think that, but don’t count on it.
There is something inherently creepy and perverse about liberals and the constant desire for the blood of the innocent.
Actually, I think it’s very primitive.
They say the ad is ambigious. I’ve heard the ad and at first it was What!? Then I listened closer the next time and realized they said stem cell research, not embryonic stem cell. There is a huge difference especially as more the more research that is done, the less there is needed to use embryonic stem cells.
Don't forget that to liberals, the killing of unborn children is the ultimate sacrament. Liberals want everyone else to believe that it is perfectly OK to murder unborn children. Embryonic stem cell research was just one vehicle they would use to try and convince more people that murdering unborn children is perfectly OK.
I like how Michael J. Fox and other people who suffer from diseases that could supposedly be treated by Embryonic Stem Cell Research have been left to suffer by the Democrat party because murdering unborn children is no longer required to harvest stem cells.
Add getting the government controlling your health needs...
This isn't just about science...it's about greed.
I would think its trying to pick up those who are ignorant of the other results of cell research that has proven as effective as embryonic but don’t know so its purposely ambiguous to get those votes.
At least, thats what im thinking.
Am I mistaken, or did I read somewhere that embryonic stem cells are present in cord blood and can be taken without harming anything?
What is CNS? Haven’t heard of ‘em. Don’t know what the acronym is and they don’t break it down on their website??
“Cybercast News Service”
Nothing wrong with them. They’re just not quite up to “Main Stream Media” level.
That’s all I’m sayin’...
Bill Frist could be helpful if he's available and wants to actively support McCain.
“What is CNS?”
They’re a good organization, but have this story wrong. Check out McCain’s website.
“As president, John McCain will strongly support funding for promising research programs, including amniotic fluid and adult stem cell research and other types of scientific study that do not involve the use of human embryos.”

McCain reversed his position, happily.
McCain won’t move forward on embryonic stem cell research. Nothing has been proven there anyway.
The cures are from adult stem cells.
My father had Parkinsons. It’s a horrible disease. I genuinely sympathize with Fox, but he’s a dupe for the cause.
Back in the day I believe the procedure was referred to as “Fetal Implant Surgery”. They had to change the name.
It is practical from a secular stand point to reverse positions on this, as well. There has been zero return on the embryonic stem cell investment.
Let the minions that think this is such a swell idea do it with their own money!
Why do they need mine to “harvest” the unborn??
I have a feeling if they even got the question, their response was, Who is CNSNews?
Is this ad even valid now? Embryonic stem cell research is already off the table and Adult stem cells are the main research line now.
