Anyone familiar with an actress name Carla Gugino? (vanity)
Posted on 09/18/2008 10:09:07 PM PDT by ConservativeStatement
I watched TV earlier, getting to be more of a rarity every day for me. This actress (?) was on a late night talk show. She said to the host "I just came back from Costa Rica. You know, they have no Army. How cool is that? (and what sounded like) At least they won't follow the bullying tactics of this country." What the hell is that?!?! Who is this twit? "How cool is that?"

She's in one of the new movies this week. I think it may be "Burn After Reading"

She's gorgeous. But probably a celebutard:

I believe she was the mother in “Spy Kids” with Antonio Banderas. She also played Wayne’s girlfriend in an episode of “The Wonder Years”. I’m sure she’s done more than that, but that’s what I remember her for.

Carla is some B celebrity. Costa Rica has no army because it had the US Army in Panama to watch its back against pitiful Nicaragua.
They (Costa Rica) tend to be more liberal than the rest of Central America.

Why would you give thoughts about this bubblehead one second of your precious life?
She'll be gone tomorrow, let her dispense her great knowledge of world events on the aptly-named boob tube, and read a book, sort your socks, or stare at the wall, all activities which will add more to your life than would wondering about this moron.

I think Costa Rica is pretty safe without an army as long as the rest of the world is unable to locate it on a globe or map. Besides, why would anyone in their right mind want to take over Costa Rica anyway? I can’t remember any country ever attacking another country to gain control of their beaches. How cool is that?

Costa Rica is a source, transit, and destination country for men, women, and children trafficked for the purposes of commercial sexual exploitation and forced labor; women and girls from neighboring states, Russia, Uzbekistan, and the Philippines are trafficked into the country for sexual exploitation; Costa Rica also serves as a transit point for victims trafficked to North America and Europe; the government identifies child sex tourism as a serious problem; men, women, and children are also trafficked within the country for forced labor in fishing and construction, and as domestic servants tier rating: Tier 2 Watch List - Costa Rica is on the Tier 2 Watch List for its failure to provide evidence of increasing efforts to combat human trafficking, particularly in terms of its failure to improve its inadequate assistance to victims; while Costa Rican officials recognize human trafficking as a serious problem, the lack of a stronger response by the government is of concern
Yea how cool is that.

You’re right. My father fought in Korea and returned wounded, without part of a hand. Whenever I hear people like her ridicule the US...I’ll stop it there.
To: GOP_Raider
Yes, that is the one. I switched from a rerun of Frasier, a show I do enjoy.
To: Myrddin
No, not Burn After Reading..she’s in the new Pacino/DeNiro movie, RIGHTEOUS KILL. Just saw it yesterday. (Saw Burn After Reading the day before).
