Does Obama really believe that white people are the Devil?
Black Theology and Black Power, by James Cone ^ | September 19, 2008 | Everglades Man

Posted on 09/18/2008 3:07:44 PM PDT by Everglades Man

Friends and Neighbors:

Given the upcoming election, I have taken it upon myself to do a little research into Obama’s religion. From what I have heard, Obama attended Jeremiah Wright’s church for approximately 17 years. Obama recently told Bill O’Reilly that he went to church more or less twice monthly during this time.

During an interview with Sean Hannity, Jeremiah Wright persistently asked Hannity how many James Cone books Hannity had read. For those of you who, like me, aren’t very familiar with James Cone, he is considered the father of a movement called “black liberation theology.”

I have taken it upon myself to read a little of Cone’s first and foremost book, Black Theology and Black Power. For your own reading pleasure, a complete copy of the 1969 book can be found on Rapidshare.com:

http://rapidshare.com/files/146182828/James_Cone_-_Black_Theology_and_Black_Power.zip

Please download the entire book and read it for yourself! If you find it surprising (as I did), please by all means share this important information with your friends and family! However, please remember not to return hatred with hatred! The way to defeat this stuff is to expose it for what it is, publicly shaming all who are in any way connected with black liberation theology. Let us kill the idea, not the man.

Although this material is hateful, divisive, and highly inflammatory, Jeremiah Wright seems to think that this hateful ideology remains relevant in our country today. Obviously, this leads to many questions regarding Obama’s beliefs and integrity. I will leave that for you to decide.

Once again, please remember not to return hatred with hatred. For an alternative philosophy that actually could lead our nation out of this mess, I recommend the philosophies of Ward Connerly. When talking to your friends and family, especially those who currently support Obama, please try to be positive and suggest this superior philosophy (or your own) as a potential replacement to Cone’s hatred.

Below you will find a few selected quotes, grouped by a few overarching themes I have thus far identified in the book. This list is NOT all inclusive. Please scan the book for more quotes and post them for everyone to read! I have only read a fraction of the book so far!

God Bless America!

-------------------------------------------

REJECTION OF JESUS' TEACHINGS OF NON-VIOLENCE:

“We cannot solve ethical questions of the twentieth century by looking at what Jesus did in the first. Our choices are not the same as his. Being Christians does not mean following ‘in his steps.’” Page 139

“Therefore, simply to say that Jesus did not use violence is no evidence relevant to the condition of black people as they decide on what to do about white oppression.” Page 140

“The Christian does not decide between violence and nonviolence, evil and good. He decides between the less and the greater evil.” Page 143

“’People should love each other’ sounds like Riis Park at sundown. It has very little meaning to the world at large.” Page 135

“’The first task of Christian ethics,’ writes Bonhoeffer, ‘is to invalidate this knowledge’ (the knowledge of good and evil).” Page 140

“The revolutionary attitude of Black Theology stems not only from the need of black people to defend themselves in the presence of white oppression, but also from its identity with biblical theology.” Page 137

RACE-BASED HATRED:

“While it is true that blacks do hate whites, black hatred is not racism." Page 15

"Black hatred is the black man's strong aversion to white society. No black man living in white America can escape it.” Page 14

WHITES ARE THE DEVIL/ANTICHRIST:

"Malcolm X was not far wrong when he called the white man 'the devil.'" Page 40

“When [a black man] realizes that the treatment accorded him has nothing to do with anything he has done, that the attempt of white people to destroy him – for that is what it is – is utterly gratuitous, it is not hard for him to think of white people as devils.” Page 15

"If there is any contemporary meaning of the Antichrist (or "the principalities and powers"), the white church seems to be a manifestation of it." Page 73

“[Black theology] is a theology which confronts white society as the racist Antichrist…” Page 135

“Modern racism is European in origin, and America has been its vigorous offspring.” Page 16

"All white men are responsible for white oppression." Page 24 (This is a charge that all white people are guilty of the fact that some white people are racist.)

NEGATIVE ATTITUDE TOWARD LIBERAL WHITE APPEASERS:

“Black racism is a myth [that] … seems to be a favorite device of white liberals who, intrigued by their own unselfish involvement in civil rights for the “Negro,” like to pride themselves on their liberality toward blacks.” Page 15

CALL TO VIOLENT REVOLUTION:

“Whether the American system is beyond redemption we will have to wait and see. But we can be certain that black patience has run out, and unless white America responds positively to the theory and activity of Black Power, then a bloody, protracted civil war is inevitable.” Page 143

“The revolution which Black Theology advocates … [means] confronting white racists and saying: ‘If it’s a fight you want, I am prepared to oblige you.’ This is what the black revolution means.” Page 136

“Black Power seeks not understanding but conflict; addresses blacks and not whites; seeks to develop black support, but not white good will.” Page 16

“Revolution always involves coercion. Is Black Theology a theology of violence? Does it advocate guerrilla warfare against the white adversary?” Page 138

“Revolution aims at the substitution of a new system for one adjudged to be corrupt, rather than corrective adjustments within the existing system…” Page 136

“The debate is over. There will be no more meetings between liberal religious whites and middle-class Negoes to discuss the status of race relations in their communities. Black Theology believes that the problem of racism will not be solved through talk but through action.” Page 135

“It does not matter how many gains are made in civil rights. Progress is irrelevant.” Page 142

P.S. HERE IS A QUOTE FOR BARACK OBAMA:

“There exists among men, because they are men, a solidarity through which each shares responsibility for every injustice and every wrong committed in the world, and especially for crimes that are committed in his presence or of which he cannot be ignorant. If I do not do whatever I can to prevent them, I am an accomplice in them. If I have not risked my life in order to prevent the murder of other men, if I have stood silent, I feel guilty in a sense that cannot in any adequate fashion be understood juridically, or politically, or morally. … That I am still alive after such things have been done weighs on me as a guilt that cannot be expiated.” Page 24

fast answer-— yes. It will come out when he grows his beard and turns into Obama X when he loses because we're all too racist to want a marxist as president.

Who cares?

Obama is urging his supporters to "get in the face" of neighbors and friends who don't support Obama.

I don't support Obama so here's my offer.

I will meet Obama at any time and place of his choosing so he can get in my face.

I have not yet unzipped it, but it appears to be a small file (11 kB).
This philosophy is no different from the neo-nazi skinheads. No wonder Walter Williams refers to the NAACP as “the Klan with a tan”.

Obama probably hates his white mother for finding him a black daddy, who knew no shame.

It seems America has a lot of blacks who do not think this is their country. They don’t know why, they are just angry people wanting to destroy this great nation. I just had a black guy yesterday tell me he won’t go to baseball games because it is a racist sport and that he never stands for the national anthem because “America is a white country, and I’m black.”

Is that CODE for marxism?

“We cannot solve ethical questions of the twentieth century by looking at what Jesus did in the first. Our choices are not the same as his. Being Christians does not mean following ‘in his steps.’”

There was, of course, no oppression or injustice in Christ's time.

.
Obama disavowed Wright, (Yeah, right. LOL) but did he disavow the Black Liberation Theory?
I read that in addition, the theory states that ‘whites should be destroyed by any means possible’.

"...unless white America responds positively to the theory and activity of Black Power, then a bloody, protracted civil war is inevitable.”

My "white patience" has run out as well. If there is to be a civil war, I say bring it. Let's get it over once and for all. Winner take all. Because people who write this type trash are in a severe minority position. The "civil war" they think would be protracted, would be over in days.

Slapping the donkey...

Red, black, green and gold - - the colors from the Rastafarian religion, the woolen hats in the four Ethiopian colors, the shrines in those colors found in their yards and pictures of Haile Selassie... (A move by the Left to marginalize Ethiopian Jews?)

What you will not hear from these perpetual pro-marijuana masturbaters is that this “ganga” thing is related to the anti-caucasian and racist Rasafarian religion in Jamaica.

Their ideology is that white men are devils. Marcus Garvey in the early 1900's said an African King would become the black messiah. Ras Tafari was crowned King Haile Selassie of Ethiopia and proclaimed to be their messiah in 1930.

According to the Rastafarian pagans, Ras Tafari did not die in 1975, but went to another dimension. He is called “Jah” and considered to be a god. A pagan perversion of Christian theology.

Of course all of this lunacy is centered around smoking the ganga weed.

That is partly why these feminized males will defend pot smoking, drug abuse and deviant use of their anatomy and are not safe to have around children...

A great post...

To: Sir Francis Dashwood

Without touching on their use of MJ, the rastaferians ALSO pointed Haile being the last "Lion of Judah". It is noteworthy that there's a Biblical prophecy that when the last LOJ goes down, Ethiopia turns into a desert.

And, when Haile went down, the Northern core of the country was turned into a desert by its new Communist masters.

Kwanzaa... just another cultural Marxism like the Rastafarian pothead religion...

Now, look a Tookie's Rastafarian hairstyle and tell me if he is not considered a prince of among the New Age Neo-pagan idolators just like Mumia Abu Jamal...

Another source of amazement is the concept of those who hold candlelight vigils (yet another example of religious ceremony) for heinous murderers about to be executed, a large number of whom think it is acceptable to murder an unborn child without the benefit of a trial. Is the “right to life” of one responsible for much murder and mayhem more important than that of a truly innocent unborn child?

Perhaps we should call capital punishment “post-natal abortion” and identify abortion as a “pre-natal death sentence” or “pre-natal summary execution.”

Another example is Michael Jackson. With the undying support of his “fans” (or fanatics) in the face of his more than questionable activities concerning the abuse of children, they still hold him up as an idol. Jackson, both in his family life as a child and his adult life, is a modern extension of pedagogical pagan pedophilia of previous ages in ancient civilizations. Look at the macabre pagan elements of Jackson's video, Thriller. Michael Jackson now resides in Bahrain... coincidence?

Michael Jackson had Nation of Islam thugs as bodyguards escorting him after court appearances through the throngs of frenzied supporters. Is Jackson their new pharaoh? Nation of Islam is a militant racist cult. Their leaders, Louis Farrakhan (the numerologist) and Kahlid Abdul Mohammed, are known Jew haters. They also support many illogical and socially subversive Leftist political activities intent on tearing down the structures of Modern Western Civilization and capitalism. Why did they shower Tookie Williams with so much adoration?

There is a clear connection between modern neo-paganism and ancient paganism related to Islamic conflict with the Judaic roots of Christendom. A focus on how this is manifested in a modern sense only requires a look at pop-culture icons in entertainment, sports “heroes,” and attempts by the Left to use a pseudo-Christian sense of pagan moralistic idolatry to demonize political opposition. I present to you the attack on U.S. Senator Rick Santorum for his comments on sodomy as a useful example. A Sacred Cow, a golden calf.

Is it coincidence that many domestic social issues are being driven by cultic Leftist advocacy of unnatural, phantasmagoric perversity?
