WASHINGTON - Nebraska Republican Sen. Chuck Hagel said his party's vice presidential nominee, Sarah Palin, lacks foreign policy experience and called it a "stretch" to say she's qualified to be president.

"She doesn't have any foreign policy credentials," Hagel said in an interview published Thursday by the Omaha World-Herald. "You get a passport for the first time in your life last year? I mean, I don't know what you can say. You can't say anything."

When did Harry Truman get his passport?
The Army was all the passport he needed during WWI.

Hagel is just mad, that after all his kissing up to the rats, nobody ever offered him the job of CEO at Fannie Mae!

Will any Pubbie miss this guy once he’s gone?

Hagel has severe insecurity issues, which is why he feels the need to attack a woman on an issue which is irrelevant to the matter at hand.

The main criteria for electing a US leader is:

Do they have a solid record of good judgement?

good morals?

good character?

Good financial history?

And do they have a loyality and love for the USA which is beyond reproach?

You didn’t used to need a passport to go to Canada. Hagel is part of the problem in DC. Perhaps Palin could make an effort to mount his head among the first on the trophy wall in her office.

just sent the following:

In case you have NOT noticed.........Amercians and Republicans love Sarah Palin. Only an ingnorant Washington elitist would say she is unqualified.

BTW, she has more guts and courage than all of you loser Republican senators combined. You have done nothing to open up drilling. This latest bill floated by the Democrats is a disgrace. Try doing YOUR job, or Sarah will be there soon to kick some butt in those Naughty Monkey shoes she wears.

>I don’t know what you can say. You can’t say anything.<

So what forced you to rise out of obscurity to open your big mouth, Hagel? And why at this particular time?
