daughter received a certified letter in the mail yesterday from the city of orlando florida...inside 3 pictures showing her car running a red light....cost...125.00

That would be $373 in California.

They’re gonna spend a FORTUNE in maintenance, especially in the US.

I wonder what the taxing safteycamera nazis would do if states passed constitutional amendments outlawing the use of the cameras except by voter referendum.

FOLKS THERE IS NO REASON WE CAN TRUMP THIS ABOMINATIONS VIA CONSTITUTION.

Was she driving? The problem with these systems in the past has been that they could not identify who was driving. Has that been fixed?

I think I heard the other day of spray that you apply to your license plate that makes it impossible for a camera to make out the letters/numbers.

Do they take a picture of the back license plate? I don’t have a front one, the dog ate it.

I already tried, all the good caves were bought up by rich celebrities.

My biggest concern is while TDY and driving a rental car. Not sure I could take the aerosol on the plane with me.

The final step in a totalitarian state could be mounting an automatic machinegun on the cameras to liquidate political undesirables as they drive by, fleeing from being apprehended by the secret police.

Citizens whether in their homes or in public, should have a reasoned assumption of privacy. It is not the government’s job to keep an eye on you every second you leave your front door. The freedom of association is turned on it’s head when the government can document every second of your life. I stridently object to this bull——!

yes it has been fixed.

the red light tickets are treated the same as parking tickets and do not affect your license.

No license issue, no due process issue via the courts.

Also it means the municipalities do not run afoul of the pre-emption clause of the florida uniform traffic code to keep these speed traps from existing.

Time for florida to have a constitutional amendment to ban thee red light cameras OUTRIGHT.

I’m just a nudge away from packing my stuff and going to live in a cave somewhere.

Naw, just move over here to Mississippi. We're WAY too poor to be able to afford this crap. Heck, the County Sheriffs aren't even allowed to have radar.
