Several municipal clerks across the state are reporting fraudulent and duplicate voter registration applications, most of them from a nationwide community activist group working to help low- and moderate-income families
The majority of the problem applications are coming from the group ACORN, Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, which has a large voter registration program among its many social service programs. ACORN’s Michigan branch, based in Detroit, has enrolled 200,000 voters statewide in recent months, mostly with the use of paid, part-time employees
“There appears to be a sizeable number of duplicate and fraudulent applications,” said Kelly Chesney, spokeswoman for the Michigan Secretary of State’s Office. “And it appears to be widespread.”
Stanley Kurtz detailed Obama’s “intimate and long-term association with the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (Acorn)” (as well as Acorn’s radicalism) in National Review:
...along with the reservoir of political support that came to Obama through his close ties with Jeremiah Wright, Father Michael Pfleger, and other Chicago black churches, Chicago Acorn appears to have played a major role in Obama’s political advance. Sure enough, a bit of digging into Obama’s years in the Illinois State Senate indicates strong concern with Acorn’s signature issues, as well as meetings with Acorn and the introduction by Obama of Acorn-friendly legislation on the living wage and banking practices. You begin to wonder whether, in his Springfield days, Obama might have best been characterized as “the Senator from Acorn.”
Will anyone in the media be willing to ask Obama about his connections to Acorn and their consistently deceptive and fraudulent voter registration efforts, or are they all too busy covering Sarah Palin’s tanning bed?
Way past time to use the RICO statutes to corral this conspiracy ...

IMHO there should only be one way to register, go down to the local BOE and register in person. I can’t tell you how many times as a poll worked here in Ohio after the motor-voter laws were passed that we had to deal with really angry people who registered when they got their drivers license renewed but didn’t appear on the voter rolls. It was our fault you know. Every application from ACORN should be thrown out in every state because of all of this fraud. If it’s important to you you will make the time to register.
Every ballot should have US Code penalties for vote fraud in boldface. Every polling place should have said penalties on prominent display.

Not in the slightest. The Liberal Messiah's followers know he's in grave danger of losing. So, they will try to do whatever is necessary in order to win (steal?) the election for their Savior (local, State, federal, and Constitutional law notwithstanding).
