The more their ilk try to either smear and put down Sarah Palin, the more people all over the country will be drawn to her.

It's because of something the left and the elite cannot comprehend and are blind to regarding Sarah.

Sarah connects with everyday people. She's a mother who wanted to make a difference in her community and joined the PTA and it went from there. She didn't need an ivy league degree in Political Science, she didn't need a law degree, she didn’t need rich connections, she just needed honesty, integrity, her faith, and a desire to serve.

She didn't seek wealth, power, or high position...it just happened and that connects with most Americans of all stripes (outside of the leftists and elitists whom she threatens) who in their hearts want to try and help their communities and improve things for their kids.

I have no intention of defending the media, who show their incredible left bias every day in every way.

However, "The View" is not the media. They are (with one lovely exception) a bunch of nasty lefty hags, who have no obligation to be unbiased and take full advantage of that. If John McCain expected a fair, even-handed reception from them, he lives in cloud cuckoo land. As the lawyer side of me would put it, he "voluntarily assumed a known risk of injury or death" when he went on that show.

I agree I should have said “news media.” Obama would, of course, be nuts to go on Rush’s show, although Rush would likely be more respectful to him that the harpies on The View were to McCain.

On today's show Barabara was talking about the feedback they got for how harsh they were to the McCains. Joy said that McCain probably probably was not expecting them to be so intelligent and Whoopie seemed to agree.

They are totally clueless about their cluelessness. Not only are they misguidedly convinced that they are deep-thinkers but they also think the show is fair and unbiased.
