However, "The View" is not the media. They are (with one lovely exception) a bunch of nasty lefty hags, who have no obligation to be unbiased and take full advantage of that. If John McCain expected a fair, even-handed reception from them, he lives in cloud cuckoo land. As the lawyer side of me would put it, he "voluntarily assumed a known risk of injury or death" when he went on that show.
Maybe he was smart enough to show people what these hags are really like. As far as I’m concerned the women who adore Oprah are of the same ilk.
