Obama, by his very nature, is sure to employ the committee approach to decision making. We all know how well that works in business.
Wow...OODA...simply the Scientific Method, topgun style, who knew. I was beginning to wonder how I was gonna look that one up. Great find. And yep, we’re praying he can keep it up....
“townhall meetings”
Those must be racist, clandestine meetings—after all, could one really use a teleprompter there? :)
Time to hammer him on Drilling and lower gas prices. That is Change America wants.

Hard learned experiences that changed the way people look at problems.
Not strange that after leaving service he mostly gave speeches to Engineers and Business Managers.
As a 20 something naval aviator, McCain was explsed to all kinds of geo-political issues in the areas he was assigned. Young fighter jocks are educated in current events and may be called upon by the sitting President to move a carrier into harm's way to defend the country. If captured, they are taught a code of ethics and expected behavior. McCain had a grandfather and father who were steeped in service to the country and were role models.
Barry was a troubled young man struggling for an identity and mixed feelings about his father and ethnicaly different mother and grandparents. He was indoctrinated in the principles of Saul Alinsky and became a community organizer to stir up class warfare and to manage corrupt construction contracts and later on, the techniques of skimming profits as a slum lord. His spiritual advisor preached anti-American sentiments and race/class warfare in addition to redistribution of wealth.
Friday night I watched a copy of ABC/Disney's 'Path to 9/11' (found it on the internet in Bit Torrent format). I now know why the Democrats and the Clintons have banned it.
With the clear resolve of Sen John McCain for our security and "No Blink" Gov Sarah Palin on the team contrasted against the wimpy approach Barry has taken to those who hate us - sitting down with our enemies - and Joe Biden's ever-errant mouth and defective mind, it would be a landslide victory for the Republicans upon viewing this movie.
I felt physically ill after watching it, thinking about the possibility of a Democrat win in November.
Not only remembering the heroism, but irresponsible and criminal acts of those like Jamie Gorelick and Sandy Burglar and the stupidity of Madeline Albright makes me proud, sad, mad, and nauseated all at once.
There is NOTHING....NOTHING presidential about Barry. I could not contemplate Barry making decisions (with Joe) if we were attacked again under their watch. I am quite scared of who Barry would have as his cabinet members (like Ziggy), and terrified of who is in his 'kitchen cabinet', like Michelle-Amorosa.
Cheers, mate: I appreciate it.
So completely agree!

Obama is proving he can destroy anything with money, as long as his name is on the byline....w/any luck he’ll do the same for the Democrats....which Congressmen have asked him to campaign with them? just askin’
This reminds me of a political cartoon during the 72 election. It showed a boxing ring with McGovern in the middle, vigorously punching himself with both gloves while Nixon smugly watched from the ring.
We know, however, from the interview that Palin doesn't agree with embryonic stem-cell.
That’s OK...he agrees with us on 80% of the issues, so I suspect a solid majority of his issue ads will make us happy.
Diehard, I heartily recommend the book Mikey recommended, but despite the extensive discussion of the OODA Loop and other Boyd theories, there are other books that focus more on the theory than the man. I’m told “The Mind of War” is the best of these.
I’m wondering if Boyd’s original writings (”On Winning and Losing,” “Creative Destruction,” the Patterns of Force briefing) are available anywhere. I’d love to read them.

Update: Well, it looks like some helpful wikipedia scribe added a link to “Destruction and Creation” on PDF since the last time I was there...and they have a link to some audio of a portion of his briefings and Q&As.
Cool. I still want a copy of “On Winning and Losing,” though.
This is what I’ve been talking about....
Never forget what a community organizer is. THis is a Marxist rule book written by Saul Alinsky who claims that the first community organizer was Lucifer.
Rule 1: Power is not only what you have, but what an opponent thinks you have. If your organization is small, hide your numbers in the dark and raise a din that will make everyone think you have many more people than you do.
Rule 2: Never go outside the experience of your people. The result is confusion, fear, and retreat.
Rule 3: Whenever possible, go outside the experience of an opponent. Here you want to cause confusion, fear, and retreat.
Rule 4: Make opponents live up to their own book of rules. You can kill them with this, for they can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church can live up to Christianity.
Rule 5: Ridicule is mans most potent weapon. Its hard to counterattack ridicule, and it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.
Rule 6: A good tactic is one your people enjoy. If your people arent having a ball doing it, there is something very wrong with the tactic.
Rule 7: A tactic that drags on for too long becomes a drag. Commitment may become ritualistic as people turn to other issues.
Rule 8: Keep the pressure on. Use different tactics and actions and use all events of the period for your purpose. The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition. It is this that will cause the opposition to react to your advantage.
Rule 10: The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative. Avoid being trapped by an opponent or an interviewer who says, Okay, what would you do?
Rule 11: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, polarize it.
It’s so clear that McC & Co are playing five moves ahead of Hussein and team.
Thanks for those details!
That's been tried before, with Clinton et al., and I don't think it flies. Most Americans understand that parents want the best education for their children and do not resent those who can afford private schools.
The difference is that 0be spent 3 years working on bringing change to the same schools he now shuns, spending $150 million with no improvement. Errs was deeply involved in the same “change”.
