First of all, I'm not sure in which forum to post this.
I do not keep up with all the bills passed in the California State Legislature. But this just came in my email, so I checked it out.
Dear Friends: This is an issue that is pretty much going under the radar, and I think we all need to make this telephone call.
This is real. I just called. It took less than 30 seconds. It is just a recording and pressing 2 to say NO. Please read it!!!
AB 2567 has passed the California Assembly and the Senate and is awaiting Governor Schwarzenegger' s signature or veto. This bill will set aside May 22Nd as a special day to celebrate the life of homosexual politician Harvey Milk in the public schools. Harvey Milk will be honored in the same manner as our Founding Fathers and Martin Luther King, although the only thing he is actually known for is being proud be be a homosexual! If you haven't heard about this bill it is because the liberal media is downplaying this bill so that it will pass.
PLEASE CALL GOVERNOR SCHWARZENEGGER AND MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD.
The Number to call is : 1 916-445-2841
'If signed into law, AB 2567 will mean an official day commemorating homosexuality, bisexuality, and transsexuality in California government schools This will harm children as young as children as young as kindergarten. ' 'The Democrats are so cocky, they have no qualms about pushing sexual indoctrination upon children in an election year.
I checked it out on the CA website. And sure enough, It is real. I don't know if this has been posted before but it sure deserves some attention.
They can't pass a budget but they sure can make time to get a "Gay Day" into the school schedule without most people knowing about it.
Man, I’m glad I escaped from that pit 15 years ago for Colorado.
Now, all I need to do is stop the liberal morons from ruining this state too.
Move to the south. We love big families, conservatism, guns, and individual rights. :)
We just take our kids out of school for the day. No money for the schools when the children are absent.
It’s California, so when you call make sure to “press 1 for English.”
Note for phone call Monday.
After you’ve made your phone call, vote against the creeps who got this bill passed.
Called and pushed 2 for NO!
Done.
Done!
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
I’m calling back and voting NO on SB60. It was #3 on the legislation menu. Driver’s licenses for illegals!
We live in NorCal (Oakland) and are looking in Colorado now.
Between the illegals and Liberals, this place SUCKS.
Schools literally have over 50% dropout rates, jails are overstuffed and in some places in Oakland, over 70% of the children have no father...
And politicians need more money to waste...
We want OUT.
Lots of illegals in Colorado.
Where do you suggest?
In all seriousness, Alaska may be your best bet.
In all seriousness, Alaska may be your best bet.
Here in Jersey, we keep the underclass, whether native born or illegal, segregated in old milltowns and urban areas where no sane person wants to live.
HOT TIP: Consider Idaho, also.
NICE homes in the mid-300’s.
Boise has a growing number of Tech sector jobs. The area is home to offices of HP, Applied Materials, and Micron, just to name a few.
The Treasure Valley has four seasons, so you can do more than just dream of a white Christmas.
Bogus Basin offers real Rocky Mountain powder less than an hour up the hill from downtown Boise.
The State is rarely in the news.
Although some political offices are being infiltrated by libs, the cancer is not far advanced, and CAN be whacked if more Conservatives in the State get their mojo workin’.
If/When I split CA — if the San Andreas doesn’t do it first — I’m bound for Idaho.
bttt
I’m thinking about it. The wife and I are going to retire from the rat race for the last time in about 6 years. Both of us have already retired once, but retiring at 45 is kinda hard for ol’ work mules.
We are empty nester’s and were thinking of Costa Rica, but she hates humility. Frankly, I really like the mountains.
As business owners, with a couple of bucks set aside for retirement, we’re looking for a place that we don’t have to learn Spanish to speak to people, while not living on Alpo. Also, I have some medical issues, type 2 diabetes, that I’m note terribly inclined to resolve with a foreign Doctor.
anyone know the homeschool ping list freeper. I’m sure they would all call for this.....
